| Name: Masaru, Ashito
Age: 630
Visual age: 17
Ex-Division: 1st
Personality: Bipolar The main factor in how he acts and reacts to things relies almost all on his disorder. However he feels is what he does, if he feels lazy his bipolar boost it, but in the heat of battle it will boost any other emotions bu not by his control. This can be used to his advantage or disadvantage, depending on how much control he has over him and however the opponent works if they try mind games and do it right.
Intelligence This is sometimes his most outstanding features, but at times can be his worst nightmare. When battling, he can easily think about what to do next, and analyze the enemy without much effort. But he is easily taunted and loses his head and temper, lashing out in rage. Often causes his own demise. Despite all this he is one of the top geniuses of the Soul Society.
Confidence Ashito has a lot of confidence in his powers, skills and other battle necessities. He rarely ever uses his Bankai transformation because he feels it is not need. He loves to make a mockery of people weaker than him as well. Going all out irritates him. He hates to think that he may have a rival, and hates to waste his Bankai time. Though, if he needs too, he won't hesitate to release sometimes if the odds are against him.
Wrath His wrath has no end, and when he kills, he licks the blood off his blade as a sign of intimidation. The Soul Society keeps a close watch that he doesn't disturb the peace and kill many Shinigami. When an enemy approaches the Soul Society, he's highly wrathful seeing as no one can stop him this time and they all want them dead. Crossing him the wrong way may make you see your death right before your eyes. Though, he'll only attack you if he's in a quiet mood, his bipolar may act up in this mood to make him act more impulsive.
Quiet He has periods that he goes completely quiet and never says a word, but gestures more than anything. Knowing the captains do not except screw ups or goof balls. He retains a serious vibe in battle so he can be a good captain. Any time he's found even a tiny bit funny is when he's laughing at the opponent, but even them he reduces it to a mean chuckle, and then reforms back to his usual self. This all dissolved, if his bipolar mood kicks in to make him playful or if he's not in battle.
Psychotic Every now and then he has what some in the Soul Society call a psycho episode. Ashito begins to have flashbacks of his past, bad ones. And they seem almost so real to be impossible that they're just flashbacks. He then goes berserk until his episode has finished. When he's in this state anything could happen and he's faster and stronger in all ways. This is usually stopped when he's stopped being quiet, because when he's quiet , he's most easily riled up and able to go into this tranced state.
Weakness Just like every other shinigami, he has a weak point that can be used against him. He's not the strongest in terms of strength. A good blow to him would deal some serious damage. Other than that, his Shikai and Bankai have a chakram that if broken, seals his Zanpaktou's form for a whole day. The chakram is always on his back, so it is visible as well, also, he has low health.
Strengths Again, like any shinigami, he has his strong points which shine to make him look strong. His speed is incredible and outmatches most, not only that, he has tons of reiatsu to use many techniques. His Shikai and Bankai, if used right are amazingly strong. Despite his weakness, he can avoid them by beating the opponent by speed or avoiding them.
Luck & Karma His karma is fairly good. At times he has good small luck as to finding a few things that could help him here and there. But he often finds himself in situations that could be deadly. Mostly because he's got bad habits or doesn't respect people much. All in all, he is well off in luck.
Determination His determination is outstanding. He never gives up on a good battle, the more challenging the better, if you manage to keep him entertained then you must be really powerful. He's never been one to give up to anyone but one to stop in the middle of a battle if the challenger is very inferior.
Playful He is often seen being playful like a kid, as he can take things a bit far, a lot of times he finds it funny anyway with his usual antics. He's like a cat with a yarn ball, just more mischievous. Most people keep their eyes on him in cae, but trust him not to betray them for fun, he will never betray Soul Society for a cheap thrill seconds of amusement. This dissolves when his bipolar kicks in to make him as serious as can be. Which he restrain from going out of, if not in battle.
Clumsy He's really never clumsy though he does have his moments where he loses his head and gets distracted, and in most cases cause him to somehow fall, trip or bump into something. He laughs when this happens to himself as well and most of the time cannot help it because the very few things that do catch him off guard are usually interesting to him and he cannot help it.
Loyal He is loyal to Soul Society because he wants to be but not because anyone tells him to be. He respects everyone in his own way, even though he may pop off at the mouth at times, or say things he shouldn't, he respects them but does not serve them or treat them as his master. Soul Society is his life, not anyone in it. So, even though he may show disrespect at times, his loyalty is as hard as a rock to the Gotei.
Formal The farthest thing from his own personality, he is so opposite of this it isn' even funny. He'll never change how he acts, speaks or think for anyone or anything. He hates the idea of changing to be formal even inf Gotei meetings, therefore is seen as "rude" or "incompetent" to others because he chooses to act this way to others and he doesn't expect the others to be formal to him either.
Pride His pride is through the roof, one reason he hates to release his bankai, though he can admit when he needs to go full power and he'd rather fight and die than run to live another day as a coward. He hates to be undermined and knew if he was to run from anyone that he would be looked down on by all the shinigami, but if he fought. He'd be praised for dying for Soul Society.
Appearance: Face Ashito's face is normal size and a feature about him, is his nose is highly sensitive and it's often moves to make it look smaller trying to close up to avoid smells. Each eye of his is different. One is pure white while the other is pitch black, showing the similarity to his zanpaktou's spirit. His hair is a pure white color, that comes down to his shoulder, his bangs hanging down to his nose, covering his eyes. Though most people think he needs to tame his hair as it has many split ends that make him look freaky. His mouth in combination as he smirks, giving him an intimidating face.
Upper Body His upper body is somewhat muscular. He has a big 6 pack on him, that isn't bulging muscle, but enough to make him have some type of strength, his arms are very long and have a very good biceps and triceps. With this in mind he has a very good range of attack. Though he appears to be tough, he has a few scars on his body. The first one is slashed in an upside down V, where it appears either two people cut him deep like that, or one person did it like a V. The only other notable feature to his body is that he has tattoos of snakes going down his arms.
Height & Weight His weight is not much compared to other Shinigami's and comes to about one-hundred seventy pounds. As he is a speed demon fighter, it is expected of him to be lighter so that he can move faster than others. Though sometimes, this can be a nuisance. Most of them pick on him by surprise attack for fun as his weight makes him fall easier. His height is where he really shines though at 6'9". Most that don't know him are intimidated by him being much taller than him. Only people who know him actually look at him at eye level on a friend basis, though he has the name skyscraper because of his height.
Lower Body Ashito's lower body is longer than his upper body, and could be called long legged. Having such long leg's give him the ability to be a much faster running speed. His legs not only have a lot to do with speed, but also to do with how he attacks the opponent. He can use leg movement's to trick how they receive his movements by going the other way. His legs aren't the best built though, but are much like his upper body. His legs are also good for jumping from place to place. Other than that, not many notable features can be told here, since it is just his legs.
Clothing & Attire His clothing is sort of a customized version of the traditional shinigami. He wears a traditional shinigami suit, the only difference is that the main color's black and it has a hood to cover his face. He also wears a similar captain's uniform. The main color of the suit is black, instead of white, along with every symbol on the overcoat being white. so, it's a reversal colored captain's suit with a hood over it, and it being ripped at the edges some to make it look a bit more worn out. The hood covers his hair so that only the bangs are really seen. Other than that, Ashito has made a customized light-steeled triple bladed sheath for his Zanpaktou, with a leather lace coming around him, holding the Zanpaktou around his back. Also wears extra equipment apparel stated below.
Background/History: In another post
RP sample:
Shades of crimson vermilion danced and flitted about the horizon’s expanse in a scarlet ambiance, the brilliant incandescent patches of burnt orange being filtered through the nebulous gray pastels of clouds that swept through the sky. The vivid splotches of luminance were cast upon the silhouette of a solitary figure, yielding a dancing shadow that was melding with the sable curtain of night that had begun to blanket all. The figure bore witness to the sunset that was occurring in a solemn and pensive reverie, the sun’s stellar ray waning with the passage of time. The fiery orb’s radiance dissolved behind the vague line of the horizon as ebony tendrils tore and rend the unfurling streaks and hues of orange asunder, and the pitch black abyss swallowed all form of light. This particular night held an air of serenity, the variety most commonly found in times of tranquility prior to the repugnant and most foul strike of calamity. Though the night exuded a demeanor of peaceful ignorant bliss, it held within its coils a most ominous severity that required attending to.
The lone figure held itself with a deadly poise, every little movement deliberate and with purpose; no action was wasted. A pair of thin black-rimmed glasses glared ominously in the waning light, appearing to percolate a steel-cold force that would bring most to their knees in a series of actions that would result in their blathering, whimpering form being sent off to join the 4th division. Leisurely, a lithe arm was raised, the dexterous fingers placing the precariously placed spectacles further upon the bridge of his nose, the figure waiting with the utmost fortitude in terms of patience; The Vizard Ashito always exuded a demeanor of severity and great importance, albeit the dead-cold seriousness he was exhibiting was several degrees higher than normal. His body showcased a visage of a tempered warrior, calm and collected in absolute solitude. His rigid stance, complimented by his solemn and somber demeanor, was nothing less than comparable to the biting sting of winter’s frigid blade.
Though his features were youthful and seemingly adorable at first glance, this was in direct stark contrast with how he held himself; unwavering in a resolute stance of extreme aloofness and rigid formality, the corrupted shinigami was the epitome and pinnacle of distant. Most who attempted to approach Ashito were abruptly taken aback by his dull and somber personality- it truly was odd to bear witness to what appeared to be a child holding himself as an adult. A noticeable decline in not only the incoming members to the any interloper, but in the proficiency of skills that current races held (Or didn’t, for that matter), was the reason Mr. Masaru stood patiently in one of the palm trees of the island. Clearly, the deteriorating rate of the quality among souls was a disease that needed to be rooted out forcefully if it were to ever to present itself to its former rate of success. races have grown found of not having a mentally adequate Vizard population, exploiting and misusing the lack of authority to do as they pleased with little to no thought of the impairment as if they were placed the Gotei 13, but themselves as well. Lack of will to improve led to a lackadaisical and comfortable position, which in turn led to a debilitating state. This would be stamped out quite thoroughly, and without hesitation…rules clearly had to be enforced.
This particular vizard had already taken measures to root out the problem, and it was the very reason he stood erect on the palm tree right now. A request for a meeting with a soul with some sort of mental capabilities has just been made- anything less than strict adherence to the command given would be met with…less than savory consequences. Ashito wasn’t a particularly merciless Vizard; he merely believed in always doing what was right. The races would soon find that rule-breaking and slacking off, would become the absolute last action that they ever performed. Arms folded within the chalk-white suit he had pressed deep on his arms, whoever decided to show up would find the Man's call…interesting, to say the least. |

| Born-4
Ashito was conceived and born in his own house, instead of a hospital like most people. The town is known as Karakura town, the town where his story began to unfold at. Growing up in this town from a mere baby, not much out of the ordinary really happened to him that he or anyone of the human world was aware of at least. His life was pretty normal as he did what all normal babies did. The only thing was he did it at a slightly advanced pace than most people. His parents didn't sense or expect anything out of the ordinary from him even after these small signs. It was about the age of two when his parents went out for a day at the park for the first time with him and started to get weird signs out of him that he was at least going to be a fan of swords, when he picked his first stick, and started to swing it around being reckless with it as he hit man things like trees, bushes, himself falling over and tripping . Still having a good time even when falling, they quickly took it away from him after seeing this happening, not wanting him to get hurt even if he showed playful signs that he was alright even when it didn’t seem like it to them. Signs of swordplay continued afterwards every single time he got the chance to. This continued until about the age of four years old, just they started to advance and become more of a problem. He’d chase people and hit someone for pure fun, laughing as he did it. Never once would he have an evil intention about it, even though he knew it wasn’t good since he got scolded for it each time.
Age: 5-10
His parents feared sending him to school after they had seen all of these things happen, wondering why he did all of this and what would happen, if he did it to kids at school. They sent him anyway knowing his education was important, but before they did, they talked to his teachers, telling them about all of these weird events so they’d be aware. He was a bit more mature at this age, though still had his moment he also knew he shouldn’t do it there. The shinigami’s presence was almost always there with him, watching and waiting over him. Wondering why they had a peculiar, strong sense as if they were drawn to him, knowing only one thing, that if he ever died, he would have the potential to become a shinigami, but of what level was the most suspense they had. Not mattering much they wanted to keep him alive to see if they could spot any potential signs. While in school, he acted as most normal class clowns do most of the time, but found it very hard to focus in school and keep up because of this problem. Sometimes he came into trouble and danger as he was taken out of it usually if it was deadly by the shinigami and their presence was faintly felt as they did it, he knew it was out of the ordinary to do some of the things he did in this situation and the presence wasn’t human. And most of the time he was pulling pranks and interrupting classes. His first year in class rolled on near the same of playing pranks, being a hyper active knuckle head of the classroom. Elementary school was more fun for him, where they put him in a special classroom for ADHD (Attention Disposal Hyper Disorder) kids, seeing as he had the tendency to act out in bigger and more destructive ways. Put in these special rooms to be taught to deal with this. He soon learned like everyone else how to deal with it and get straight A’s at a normal level.
Age: 11-14
His elementary years are now over; he had passed with top grades of his year, utilizing his skills to the max, becoming more involved with schools. Starting the sixth grade now, entering junior high, most of the teachers had heard of him and how to deal with his mischief tendencies. Making sure he was alright in the head with his medicines and of course that he learned the best ways to learn, and lastly to check before sitting, eating, turning, etc. About this time he had come across many things in his life that he saw as usual, but the one thing that had really to him curious at the age he was at. Was why everyone has biological parents besides him? His guardians tried to cover it up and keep it from him. His mothers left him in the time span from the age two and three. This is why he never remembered them really at all. His guardians then posed as his biological parents until he was older and wiser, so that he may understand it more, since he was more mature. He figured out all of this through the years, seeing many things such as looks, and features were different from his guardians. After all this started to come together, he finally got the courage to confront them about it, and after awhile of talking he finally got the answers out of them. His mother had died of a disease that she couldn’t get help with and deceased at the age of twenty-eight, not soon after that, his father ran off leaving him behind. Where his guardians kindly let him in and took care of them, becoming his parents. After hearing the short summary of what had happened to his parents he didn’t find much at all, other than what he had of heard from his guardians, throughout junior high school.
Age: 15-17
His years long gone out of junior high school, his personality changed somewhat. He was still the funny guy of the class, but learned how to control his ADHD more and focus tons better to make top marks in his class once more as he did in his last two schools. Compared to a lot of the other kids in school, he was much smarter, but physically much weaker. He used his advantages to make them look lesser like they tried to him when he got bullied by them. They did such things as take all his money, slam him into lockers, and other such things. While he manipulated his smarts to make them look dumb in school and play various pranks using contraptions. He had gotten through about half of high school, with these shenanigans going on like a war between bullies and smart children. Most of the kids that weren’t as smart were intimidated to even ask for help, so the meaner ones tried to scare the smartness out of him to get him to do their work. He refused always and took their abuse, while dishing out his own making them look like lesser of humans. A gang that usually always bullied him had, had enough that day. And decided to get back at him for it sot hey planned to beat him down and injure him badly as he walked home from school. Ashito came across and through the ally they were waiting and ambushed him. As they beat him with their fist and brass knuckles, one kid went off the defend, pulling out a knife, as he stabbed him in the upper back. He coughed up blood as it spewed out of his back, as he died a slow painful death, no one to save him or even call the paramedics. He soon ceased to exist as his corpse lied their motionless; he was soon found and pronounced dead by the police.
Early Shinigami Days:
Regular Spirit
As he died, he awoke in a dark place, walking on what seemed like and endless, dark, floorless place. A voice could be heard after he explored the new found place for about five minutes.”Young one, you’re path as a shinigami has come to a start. Your story’s about to unfold before your very eyes, are you ready?”, the voice called as it echo faded away. He thought to himself for a moment. A shinigami? Death Gods, is that what he means, they can’t be real. He soon found himself pondering these words, not wondering or wanting to ask the voice. Soon, after he pondered all of this, a hole appeared in the dimension as he fell into it thinking he was going to fall for eternity. “Embrace the path you were born to have.”, were the last words he heard, as he screamed falling. He soon fell and hit a ground, in dirty, dusty clothes. Though it wasn’t anything even remotely close to superficial clothing, it seemed to match everyone and everything there, from the people and houses. He soon got off the ground and dusted himself off, blinking as he looked around, in confusion thinking to himself, where am I? He soon walked around, not a soul staring at him as he went by, they all thought he was just another one of them. After getting a little bit familiar with the area, he asked around for information as many people looked and stared at him thinking he was a bit dense or got hit on the head. Later finding out that he was outside of Soul Society, known as Rukongai. He searched around more and more, wondering where he’d go finding a cozy place to rest for awhile until he found out what to do. After days and days of just having fun and exploring the poor place he was in, he decided to find more of a purpose in his life. He as wondering what was outside of this place by now and was told of the place known as Soul Society and how it held some of the most powerful shinigami, along with their powerful, unique zanpaktous. Recognizing the word “shinigami”, he knew that’s what the voice meant about his destiny and set off to find his own katana to called his zanpaktou.
The Masaru Group
He hadn't known anything of this world, where to go, what to do. Where was he going to live? Who was he going to associate with? What was going to happen to his whole being? He figured this was the only thing he could do at this point. He traveled for many days and nights wondering how he was going to find an item he really know nothing about. How would he find a zanpaktou, did it have an features different from a normal zanpaktou, would he know which is his? How would he be able to identify all of this. It was a new world, he had nothing there and knew no one or anything. He was like a lost child there. A lone traveler, he knew that he would have to get help one day, or wonder around aimlessly. Well, that help found him, rather than he, himself found help. It seemed other travelers were coming down the same path he was taking. A group of three it was, a woman and two men following along the path, they all seemed to have the same clothing and were equipped with katanas and weapons. Could they hold zanpaktous as he had previously heard about?
They crossed paths as he looked rugged as he passed them, they eyed him as if he were a piece of meat. But soon approached the man, but Ashito thought they were going to attack him, but instead they offered him help. They knew he was new to this world, how? He just had that vibe about him that yelled 'new person'. He soon came to travel amongst them in normal clothes, they could tell he was no shinigami, yet. But he told them about all his adventures including his first encounter with his spirits. After that they had the assumption that he a future shinigami so took him in and taught him the style of fighting. The names as they told him were as followed, Roxanne, Zadraxil and Xell. All skilled fighters with their zanpaktous as they soon told him they were a shinigami, teaching about their zanpaktous. How they obtained them, when they got them and what powers they had from them. How theirs looked would give him an idea of how his would look, but he was informed that each one looked different from each zanpaktou.
He soon caught on to the cultures of shinigami and learned about them and basic hollows from them and time went by as be grew a bigger bond with these people, and grew stronger in the art of hand-to-hand and kidou combat as they couldn't teach him any zanpaktou techniques. Years have passed as he was so skilled, and yet to find his zanpaktou, disappointed at all the time it was taking, he grew tired and unfaithful that he was ever going to become a full-fledged shinigami. The three became like family to him and they soon formed a group, that they named after the newcomer, liking his last name, the group thus was called 'Masaru'. They knew he would become the strongest of them if he came this far without being a full-fledged shinigami, it was just a matter of time until he obtained his zanpaktou and would be able to master it, then all his power would come in and he would be legendary.
They knew this would never happen if he continued to waner aimlessly along with him, as he was still so young and had time to become stronger than them by the time he was their age. So, they did what they thought would be best for him and took him back to where they first met him. And that was outside of Rukongai. They led him there, and knew this was the best place to find his zanpaktou and power. So, after a long goodbye and few nights to get out any last thoughts of ideas, he went along on his own to find his own path in this world. The bond never stopped, but he had to depart from them for the time being. And so he set off to Rukongai, never seeing them again. |

| Obtaining Izanagi & Izanami
Upon hearing of the legendary zanpaktous also called soul slayers. He set out of Rukongai, many people still not knowing who he is, or where he came from. He himself had not known many of the people there either or much of them, other than they were extremely poor, and didn’t want to know them ,for he also knew that he’d have to go soon to follow his destiny as a shinigami. He soon found out Soul Society was heavily guarded, as he sensed the barrier and saw one of the guards, who told him only shinigami’s may enter. After that he set off in search of his zanpaktou, disappointed that he didn’t get to search there or even get details of where he may get one. Coming across another distinct place in the new world, in which he had no idea was, he heard the same voice he had heard before. “Your destiny is awaiting, you’re very close.”, it said as it echoed coming from the cave, as Ashito walked into it slowly wondering whose voice he was hearing. The voices subsided until he got further and deeper into the cave.
The life-force aura kept changing so violently that most people couldn’t survive in but for some strange reason Ashito had no problem going along in, that he barely even noticed even though it was either too heavy and thick it smothered him or too light that he exhausted easily and felt weary. The lights being black when heavy, white when light and gray when equivalent and stable. He wondered around for about one hour to two hours searching for where the voices sources were coming from. Coming to what seemed like the end, a round room, with lights of all three colors surrounding and in the middle of the room, a stone, with a katana in it. Along with two statues beside it, both we’re identical as Ashito became afraid when they started to move and change colors, one too pearl white, the other to pitch black. They both spoke to him at this point, in the voice that Ashito had heard from before both times, and were also identical at that. “Come and pull the sword that will unlock the great destiny as a shinigami that is in store for you, as to use us as your guide to the shinigami world to empower you and help you become the greatest shinigami of all, mind, body and soul. Ashito starred in amazement as he was speechless walking up to the stone tablet nodding as he pulled it up, feeling the power engage with him. Suddenly the two spirits were absorbed into the sword giving Ashito the power with his newly found zanpaktou. They faded off as his costume changed to a shinigami suit, and lastly said, “Do not forget we are here to help, use our powers over temperature well, young shinigami.”, they said echoing.
Entering Soul Society
As his zanpaktou spirits leading him the way out of the cave now instead of wandering for hours to find his way out. After this event had taken place, the sun hit his eyes as he was in the open world once more. He found himself confused and lost on where to go to next. He tried his best to backtrack his steps, to find the wall in which to gain access to Soul Society too. He suddenly sensed the huge reiatsu he had before, before entering the cave to obtain his zanpaktou. Making his way to it, being guided by his new spirits, he looked in amazement as he had reached where he previously was. Approaching the gate, he saw a gate guard as he didn’t know if he’d have to fight him or not, but had his zanpaktou out anyway thinking his katana with three blades would have the advantage over something with one blade, not even having a clue about release forms. The guard spotted his tiny body compared to his, and suddenly slashed at him wildly as Ashito jumped out of the way avoiding it barely but surely. “Who are you to be so dumb to try to breach the gates?! I’m the guardian of this walls and you must pass me to get through.”, he said cocky-like. Ashito didn’t say a word, but stayed calm to try and last more than a minute. “Speak! Before I kill you, why not tell me your name?”, he said sneering at Ashito .
“My name is Ashito, Masaru Ashito”, he said as he rushed towards him intending to cut him, as the guardian slapped him away like a fly, with one hand. He intended to put the final blow onto Ashito with his zanpaktou with it coming crashing down on him, before a captain level shinigami saved him, blocking the attack with ease. Ashito looked stunned at this point, his eyes wide as he was damaged a bit, bleeding. He stood up, staring at the captain level shinigami, wondering why he had helped him. “You do not need to know my name or anything about me, except that I saved you. As for you, guardian…Don’t kill him, he will be escorted to the academy as he wishes. For that is his destiny, and wishes to become stronger, am I wrong?”, he asked Ashito as he was silent once more following along, his spirits a bit happy as they knew this is where his story was to begin at.
Academy Entrance & Training
Following alongside the captain, Ashito was speechless at the sight he was beholding now. The new world he had entered had changed from poor and primitive to rich and high tech. He tried to contain all the thoughts not wanting to over do his welcome, as he tried to keep up with the other shinigami. The captain started to explain numerous things, starting with the name of the place "Soul Society", at that moment, Ashito's eyes widened, as he knew that this was the exact place he was wanting to get into. The captain also began to describe the wall and the purpose of the guardians was suppose to protect outsiders from getting in. Explaining and testing out the strength of Soul Society giving Ashito a good example of their protection forces. After that he showed him more around, explaining such things to him like what shinigamis were to do. And why they exist, then came the discussion of hollows. Ashito showed a bit of repulsion at the job and description of hollows. His hand was always clenching his zanpaktou as the captain noticed and spoke to him. "Don't be so ready to always attack, because it may bite you in the end. Especially since you have no training.", he said as he told Ashito of the Gotei 13. "Anyway, one of the most important things you should always know is, we of the Gotei are the protectors of both here and the human world. There are thirteen divisions for you to go into and you'll probably be in one one of these days.", he said walking along, coming to a stop, as a huge building was in front of them now. "And this shall be where you start. The academy.", he said as Ashito Ashito stood there looking at the building.
"Thank you, I won't make you regret letting me into Soul Society for this chance.", Ashito said in a humble tone. After that the captain had suddenly disappeared out of nowhere before Ashito could tell him anything else. Ashito was lost and the only thing he knew to do was enter the building and that's exactly what he did, entering the academy for a chance to become and official Shinigami fighter. He had come to fill out all the information to enter the academy and begin his training to become one, and to start his training.
Academy Training & Passing
With Ashito enrolled in the new found school, he was determined to pass with the highest scores, remembering his school days, where his intellect surpassed most all, if not everyone. Though another thing still hadn't changed since then either. He was still physically lacking, but making up for it in terms of speed. Ashito had become quite well known for his swordplay abilities, and even had his own style that even higher ranks had no clue to counter against. It was a complex, original style that anyone had ever used, learned or even studied to this day. Ashito studied it everyday, also learning the original shinigami style, and after awhile came to name this style as "Tenkawakeme Kenkaku", also called or translated into English as, "Fateful Swordsman". Ashito never really liked the old fighting style but knew he had to get it down to pass the exams, so started to combine the two styles to eventually become the best out of the academy. The new style would become his own, as he wanted to later get into the Masarufamily, that was known by few. He knew of the family and heard their leader secretly helped Soul Society take down the Quincy's without them even knowing. So, in hearing of this family by an unknown source in Rukongai, he wanted to join because of he wanted to bring it to be a noble family of Soul Society instead of keeping it a secret. Upon all this training, he soon mastered the original Shinigami style fighting along with his own, and combined them. Soul Society was still unaware of how it worked exactly or how he used it. Time had flown by and he had soon mastered his kidou, taking more effort than the others, he was still persistent. After that he was ready and fully grown shinigami, it was time. Graduation was not far off as he knew it, he stood in line with the others to be passed. The captains were present as they looked at them, the commander in front of them all, he began to speak.
"You have all done well, and you have accomplished so much and become a full fledge shinigami, but don't stop now and don't get egotistical. The road is much longer and harder. You will see yourself in some of the most dangerous places, putting your life on the line everyday. Just remember what you've learned, as you have all passed.", he said as his arm rose up and he walked off, signaling to let the celebration begin. Ashito looked at his zanpaktou and other fellow shinigami's smiling as he had accomplished his first goal.
Division Entrance & Seating
A few weeks after the celebrations, and all the shinigami's breaks were over, it was time. Ashito would be entered into a division. What he didn't know is, that he had the potential to become seated. He was more or less eager to get into the Gotei. He wondered where he would go, or if he'd even be able to check out the divisions first and choose himself. "Well, today's the day.", he spoke to himself, readying his shinigami suit, he sheathed his zanpaktou just the way he wanted and headed on his way to the meeting with all the other shinigamis. He took a stand beside the line of his fellow, future comrades. Soon hearing them announce their quads one-by-one. "Ashito Masaru...", the commander said, looking at his scores, seeing the potential in him and seeing his marks were top notch. "Well, a hard one to place, but I think he'll do good in the 7th Division", he aid amongst the other captains. "7th Division!", he yelled, signing him up for that division, Ashito walked toward his division, staring down his current captain, as he knew they'd have a rivalry spark sooner or later when he would become stronger.
The day soon past, as he became familiar with his division now, he was to spar and practice to see if he would become seated. He was a new recruit though, none expected him to do so well. He smirked through all his fights, showing he was the best of the new recruits. Not long before he fell after battling the vice-captain, he was known as the 3rd seat from now on. He was happy with his accomplishment for now, but would be back to become captain. He went to his room, his body damaged and wounded, he knew he'd have to gain shikai to at least become a higher rank. "Well, I'll leave that for another day.", were his last words before he fell asleep, wondering what he'd do in his missions to come. This was the beginning of a truly worthy shinigami as most saw, including himself.
Later Shinigami Days:
Obtaining Shikai
Now starting his next goal, surely not his last, but this would soon make him one step closer to becoming the captain, he was looking forward to have a captain rank rival against him. Seeking out more power, he decided to leave Soul Society for awhile, after gaining approval from his captain. After that was dealt with, he decided to go back and return to the cave where he essentially obtained his zanpaktou. Entering the cave slowly, he looked around curious like, "Hello? I need you two again.", he said calmly, taking out his zanpaktou. This time hearing no return response, he grunted a bit in despair and agitation. He wondered farther into the cave, trying to find where he actually first touched his zanpaktou. He wondered for awhile, wonder what to do, until he finally found where he was looking for, he grinned for a moment, running to it. He wanted to see something, as he stuck his sword back into the stone, as the place lit up once more as it had previously before. "So..The spirits have filled the cave once more giving it, light again, have they?", he asked surprisingly.
"You have come to see more power.", a recognizable voice could be heard, as the spirits finally appeared, showing their physical form, as they walked on land now, "It's been ages since we've been able to walk on earth, for this, we thank you.", they said wondering around, Ashito's look a bit tunned at how they looked, though he liked it and thought it was cool. "We have come to show you the true powers of your zanpaktou, the next stage." they said as they touched his zanpaktou.
Ashito looked surprised for a moment till looking at his zanpaktou, seeing it glow gray now, "W-what's going on?", he asked curiously wondering what was going on as it stopped, they disappeared without a trace as if they were absorbed into the katana itself. "Where'd you go?!", he exclaimed a bit freaked out now. "You now have shikai, use the power well, life and death will always come to your aid in place of us, remember that.", they said as their voice faded, an they could no longer be communicated with anymore as Ashito looked at his zanpaktou, smiling as he knew he obtained what he had been wanting all this time. He now started gaining his way out of the cave, this time it continued to light up, It seemed his zanpaktou could light the way now as well. He soon found his way to, returning to Soul Society happy, he had obtained shikai. He was soon going to beat the VC of Division 7. |

| Beating the Vice-Captain
It was time, after all, he finally achieved the next level of his zanpaktou known as shikai. He knew this is all he needed to beat the current second in command. The captain had secretly had his eye set on him for the longest time without Ashito even knowing it, he had wondered where this new shinigami came from and why he was this strong so soon. Right now, that was meaningless to even tell or think. Later on after that time it was a day pretty much like any other day, accept the challenge was to be made. Ashito's day to fight the Vice-Captain was to come as he suited up in his usual form as he stepped out of his room, into the common room. Manny heads turned to meet his face as he walked through his form not changing, silently he walked through it, making his way to the battle ground. His thoughts were set on only one things and that was to completely destroy the vice-captain and take his spot. As always the challenger got there second and they both stared each other down as a word wasn't said.
After a few minutes of staring the fighting started out nowhere, the speed of both impressive. It seemed like they were evenly matched after awhile of fighting, but it seemed they both were playing as soon they both got more serious the vice-captain releasing first, then Ashito . He soon stopped playing in his release as the vice-captain had gotten really tensed from the fight, he was going full-force as his speed lessened giving Ashito the edge as he was calm. The fight went on, the tides turning slowly as Ashito had finally won, he was exhausted and barely standing. Soon after the captain congratulated him, but right after he had passed out.
After a few hours he awake after the battle he had, had with the vice-captain, he awoke thinking he may get the position only to find out no matter how strong he was, the captain wasn't going to give him vice-captain, for most reason that his vice-captain already had bankai. Ashito was disappointed by this decision as he didn't disagree with it and set out to gain bankai.
Obtaining Bankai
Soon after he had recovered from his battle from before, he was still banded a bit but he was well enough to set out on his adventure. "To the mysterious cave..", he said chills going down his spine as it still shook him up that this all started there and it was his special training spot. His sights set on the cave and obtaining his bankai with their help was short lived when he came upon where the cave was, or where it once was. It had instantaneously disappeared into thin air a if it had packed up and moved. Angered at this Ashito wondered what the hell he was suppose to do now. It wasn't like he was used to speaking to his spirits through his word, or even knew about his ability to do it nonetheless.I guess this is where it marks a new point in his life where he learns to rely on his spirits, not their spiritual guidance place. Disappointed at the results he had gotten from them, he started to make his way back to Soul Society to think of what would be his next course of action, but before arriving to his destination point, it had looked like he had walked into a pitch black room. Suddenly the scenery changed from Soul Society to nothing but a dark room, unaware that he had really just fallen unconscious. He would soon find the answers he had been looking for. During this moment, in the dark room, he saw only himself, twisting, turning and looking around to see for an exit. Hearing only the howling sounds of his ancestor spirits, which was at this moment not known to him what they were. But, the voice that stood out more and recognized was his own two spirits. They spoke in sync, "Come find me...", as their voice faded and echoed through they would repeat it about three or four times, before he came out of his trance, find himself lying on the ground as if he had been hit and fallen.
He took note of all that had happened that day, thinking about it the entire next day, wondering what they meant by that if his guidance cave was destroyed. After hours and hours of thinking he had only a number of ideas and then it hit him like a truck. "My Zanpaktou!", he yelled loudly as he grabbed the hilt now understanding why some shinigami said they have a heavy bond with their sword and even some talked to them and up until now, he thought they were just plain nuts who had taken far too many hits to the head. As he headed outside to try and get advice on how to unlock his zanpaktou, everyone gave him that answer that made him sulk, "You must find that out for yourself" or something along those lines. He soon, went to the only place left, his zanpaktou beginning to talk to it and see if it'd speak back and give him any answers. And it did, "Do you wish to see my true power? Then touch the sword.", they said as he was nervous, yet did as they commanded without a word. His hands touching the sword, it felts like a dark hole absorbing him, as his body looked as if it was being sucked into the sword.
Once more a new scenery from nowhere had been picked, this time, he was fully aware and his spirit particles had been reconfigured by his spirits to fit inside his swords as they could. The two spirits had shown themselves in their physical forms before him as he stared, as they began to talk to him. "This training takes a long while, and, you won't see home for awhile, are you ready?", they said as he shook his head almost instantly. The two then proceeded to tell his training that it was to escape the dungeon, that would include his new power once he had finished. The time had flown by as he began to understand his zanpaktou was life-force based. Going through the dungeons collects all sorts of fragments for his zanpaktou and elements to give him his new power. He soon had it all together, three years had passed by before he finished. And without a word, the spirits threw him out of the sword exhausted. He had now obtained bankai once and for all, but what happened to his life in Soul Society in three years?
Achieving Captain Rank
The time had finally come as he had achieved what he had wanted for so long, he could finally surpass more people than he ever could before as he snickered. He noticed things had changed in the time he had mysteriously vanished, but hew noticed some of the old things that had stayed the same as well. Walking along the path, he had hoped things had stayed the same for the most part in Soul Society. Walking along the path, he smiled glad to be home finally to the place he had missed so much. A few faces starred at him as if he were a ghost, he knew this was going to happen. After all he had been gone for three years. Upon his return, rumors spread fast of his return, soon a few vice captains had been sent to check out the rumors and if they were proved true, they were to bring him to the captain commander. He was considered a traitor for now since his motives were unknown at this moment. After some quite some time they finally found him strolling around, his eyes wide and curious at all the new sites. He went quietly with them his eyes still wandering around, soon approaching the Captain Commander of the Gotei. He soon found out that they had replace old man Yammamoto. Soon hearing of how Knives was previously the Captain Commander and now the current Captain Commander was the famous Takahashi, Arata. He wasn't the happiest with all these changes and as of now didn't show him any respect. And now the conversation happened.
"So, I've heard you went missing three years ago, but why?", he asked inquisitively as he gave him a disappointing look. His gaze not going off of Ashito, waiting for an answer from the former Soul Society 3rd seat. He took a minute to reply as he was sweating a bit from the fear of being banished from what he considered home. As he started to speak, he got his grip able to speak, "I've went to gain the power of bankai so I can become more powerful and become a higher ranking shinigami. I'm not sure what happened, it was weird, but I obtained my bankai." The captain gave another wondering look and began to speak once more, "Well, I'm sorry to tell you..but the previous captain and vice-captain you once knew are long gone and your previous division is left weak.", silent for one minute, he looked around, "And since you're a former shinigami here that just about everyone knows, and we need a fast replacement. You can, if you want, be the next captain rank shinigami. After that Ashito nodded, in agreement.
And without another word, the Captain Commander dismissed him with a wave of his hand, as Ashito left, it was decided that he was to become the next Captain of the 7th Division. What would await him on his new position and how would the others treat him?
Starting the Masaru Clan
A new age for the 7th Division had arrived and by now most of the subordinates of Ashito's had been calling this time, "Ashito's Era", for taking over so quickly and not doing a bad job at all. He had almost everything he ever wanted out of Soul Society, except for one thing, He had rarely ever known family and he wanted to change that, and soon, he hatched an idea. The Masaru clan was recreated but differently this time, it was no longer just a group looking to be more powerful through jobs with no allies and only mentally created at this point, he was going to make a clan house for those he could trust and consider as if they were his own family. That was the closest he was ever going to get to family and he would be happy with that, he always thought family wasn't made by blood but a bond was formed by trust and what's the point if you can't trust those bounded to you by blood? Knowing all this, in a matter of months the clan had, had it's start. Given it's own corridor, lounge, meeting place and training ground. It was off to a great start and own section in Soul Society. Ashito had planned to make his family well known and would try his best to make it one of the four noble families of Soul Society.
Soon after it had been set up and started, Ashito did his best to recruit the closest people he could. And the first member was none other than Jyn, the female shinigami that was like a daughter figure to him. He first met her when he became a captain, and saw the talent in her as a captain did in him. He recommended her and got her into the academy with ease. Not soon after that, without regret, kept an eye on her actually impressed with how well she was doing. Soon after her graduation, she was put into his division. Not only that she had worked her way up to become his vice-captain after some time, but also become the closest shinigami to him at this point in his life. And soon became a Masaru like himself, and his step-daughter. Ashito was happy that he had finally had everything he could want in Soul Society, but what was to happen? His life could waver and become harder or better, but he very seriously doubt this and knew naught of what was to come.
Vaizard Problems:
Invitation to Karakura
He had finally achieved his greatest goals in his new life as a Shinigami. And yet, the worst was to come. His life was at it's top there was nowhere to go but down. Ashito was in the seventh division, the captain no less now and knew nothing of so called higher ranking evolutions of shinigami. The Espada, he knew of their powers and learned little of them but enough to know and how they were somewhat, a mere Hollow form at their best to become an equal to fellow Shinigami, such as himself. He had even learned how they absorbed other Hollows to get even more powerful. It was disgusting in a sense to be a cannibal, though the saying, "You are what you eat" comes to mind. In this case, a blood thirsty, killing machine hollow. Though there is one thing he had never heard of one bit, and that was what a Vaizard was. Never seemed to question about their own evolutions or even thinking they had one. It wasn't likely or even heard of that he would soon find out the hard way.
It began on a strange, strange day. Ashito had woken up, as he sighed and went to get dressed like normal in his captain outfit. It all seemed like it was all a normal day, until he had finally taken a step outside, only to step one what seemed like a note. Ashito quickly picked it up, undoing it all, he read with great curiosity. It read, "Come to Karakura Town tomorrow at ten PM. A special offer is available for a shinigami of your level.", Ashito was curious as to who would want him, and was going to find out. If they apposed the Gotei he would have no choice but to murder them all. It seemed that he had the best intentions for Soul Society in mind, but would anyone be able to change his mind or his ways about any of this? Who could if even be that was contact him, he wondered.
The next day had occurred, he woke up at dawn it seemed around six AM in the morning. He was sweating, apparently a bad dream had just occurred as he jumped up springing to life, breathing a bit heavily realizing he was awake now and that he had just had a bad nightmare. His subconscious was getting to him showing him all of the possible outcomes from tonights events in which his conscious mind was trying to suppress. He knew this would be too risky to even tell anyone about, especially Jyn who had become like a daughter to him, knowing she would want to come. The day went by pretty slowly as that was all he could think of as his mind stayed on it, the others snapping him out of his train of thought from time to time. The time had come, it almost hit nine-thirty as he started to prepare for his journey. His zanpaktou, his signature haori to prove who he was and as his back-up escape plan, his invisibility cloak.
In time for this event, he had the twelfth division get him an invisibility cloak done especially for him and in a hurry, he knew this would be a helpful item, and without a question they got right onto it. The captain of the twelfth division understood that some things are best kept a secret for the safety of others and authorized the making. And as an add on, they put an emblem of the number seven on it. After all of this preparation, he began to leave Jyn a note to cover up what he was doing and to give a false story, as he set off leaving Soul Society for Karakura Town. |

| Meeting the Vaizards
The bell had tolled at ten finally, the bell ringing through the place loudly, Ashito wondered where they were, whoever they were. He soon sensed their tremendous reiatsu coming his way, he knew they would be tough to beat, wondering what they wanted of him. The reiatsu getting closer to him, he had his cloak in his haori still ready to pull out at any time. A voice could be heard as they grew closer and closer to him. "So, the famous Ashito Masaru, one of the stronger captains, yet at this point was still a Junior Captain.", he said speaking highly of him Ashito wanted to know why they wanted him, how they knew so much of him as well. Another voice spoke to him, "We have no will to fight you, but to make a proposition for you and see if you would like to join us", a smile could be seen coming from him, the mysterious person.
"Proposition?", he asked questionably, getting the gut feeling he should high tail it out of their, but he was too curious to run at this point even though being surrounded by numerous high reiatsu. He knew that they didn't know about his cloak as it was so new, and if they did. They must've been spying on him, he was becoming paranoid now. Ashito's movement were becoming evasive a bit, trying not to make it too obvious. His zanpaktou was already drawn, ready to fight as the voices began to speak to him once more, his expression on his face becoming more serious now. "Yes, we are what you would call Vaizards. A shinigami with hollow powers-", they spoke being abruptly interrupted by Ashito's gasped in astonishment. He knew he was in trouble now hanging around a crowd like this, it was time to try and come out of their, he didn't want to stay here anymore.
The next thing you knew, he was trying to pull his cloak from his haori without a word, he wanted out of their, anyone or anything to do with hollow or their power's weren't something he wanted to deal with at all. They quickly caught onto him trying to escape, three Vaizards quickly holding him down, as they smirked, the obvious leader beginning to smirk at this point. "We tried to reason with you, but it seems you won't have anything to do with us. We will have you to add to our power, you have so much potential.", he said as a nearby hollow was killed in an instant by one of the Vaizards. Ashito was about to witness something he'd never seen in his life, the power from the hollow being extracted. Not only that, they were somehow storing it inside of Ashito, the reiatsu of a hollow quickly, forcing it's way inside of the captain level shinigami, as he screamed. It was no use with the Vaizards holding him down, their was no use fighting it. The horror making him pass out, the process finishing. The Vaizards had nothing left to do with him, they left him their passed out, with the hollow reiatsu manifesting inside of him. He now had a hollow side in him, unaware of it though.
He woke up, apparently early in the morning it seemed, in a daze. Confused on what had happened, rubbing his head, the last thing he remembered is what the Vaizards had forced upon him. What did they do to him in fact? Why did they want him this badly? All he knew to do was to go get scanned, to see if he could reverse what they did to him, whatever it was.
Hollow Infection
Upon waking up, he walked around Karakura gathering his thoughts on everything he witnessed that night and everything they had said to him. Part of him wished he would have listened and at least gained more information, but part of him knew it was right to try to get out of their before he dug in too deep. If he did, the Gotei could very well suspect him of betrayal, something he would not have at any cost. His memory was faint and vivid, though walking around helped clear his head. He slowly regained full memory, until it had become like a picture in his head, the events so real, it would feel as if it were happening that very instant. All he could do is report back to headquarters and see what was going on.
His first experience with Vaizards, some had better days of course. He had wondered how a shinigami could get such foul power or even why. Why would someone want to ruin their pureness? He didn't care anymore, he wanted to blank that day out forever, but it was next to impossible. Slowly walking towards Soul Society, he was going to make his return home. Not long after, he emerged at the great wall, he knew he was almost their. Happy at this point, he needed to know a few things. "I need to go to the twelfth division to see what's going on, something has happened to me. I have no idea, but they didn't put hollow reiatsu inside of me for nothing.", he said knowing full well they could have made him one of them. The gate being opened for him yet again, the shinigami around him could sense a change inside of him, he knew they did by the way they acted and began to sneak looks at him. They were curious as to find out, but since he was a captain, it was best to just leave him be and not ask any question.
Days have passed with no sign of change inside of himself, he was just like a normal captain of the Gotei, but it was still time for his check-up. The twelfth division captain had finally accepted him into his lab for observation and internal experimenting. A choice of Ashito's solely, he needed to know for sure what was the purpose of what the Vaizards did to him. Hours had passed, many scans of many areas were going on, they could find nothing wrong with him really, except the hollow reiatsu manifesting inside of him, sitting their idly. The last scan of the day, would be the table turner. Ashito's worst thought about this had come true. The sensed his inner hollow, it was forming and feeding off of the hollow reiatsu inside of him, growing bigger and bigger. It would soon become a part of him and give him a whole new side. It was sad, they had no cure for Vaizards as of yet or not technology to even help him out. All Ashito would have to do is hold out until the experiments they did gave any results back. He would be the first to cure after all.
The day had ended, all their scans and test had come out positive for what the Vaizards had done to him, they finally figured out the problem with Ashito. Now to get the cure, would they get it in time for Ashito? Everyone was to keep Vaizard information to themselves from Ashito at this point. Mainly to keep him from freaking out on how they take over a shinigami once infected if they didn't learn control of it. And if he did get control of it and master it, they would have to exile him from Soul Society. Something neither of them wanted.
The Hollow Within
What was going to happen to him? Why did they do this and who exactly were they, their identities he meant. The Vaizards were obvious, but their personal identity was yet unknown to him. These questions kept popping up in his head, at night time, reoccurring nightmares were the worst for him. His mind never seemed to rest and kept going even when he slept, was he slowly going insane. The nightmares of the Vaizards awakening him in a sweat, he knew he needed some help and fast. He could sense the hollow inside of him growing. He hated that side of him and loathed it. The past days didn't get any better at all, he knew this was all just toget worse.
In the day, he would feel so distracted. Not able to focus on anything but what was going on inside of his mind, sometimes he just wanted to knock out completely for a few hours. He was to be deported for a mission that they thought he could handle at the moment with his mind going ninety miles and hour, were they right or wrong? He asked himself ,as he sighed. He was to finally slay a few hollows inside of Karakura Town. He gathered his division as plentiful as he needed, as he thought he was prepared, setting out. They soon passed the great wall, walking into the real world, soon departing and in an instant arrived at Karakura Town with no problems.
It would seem that the amount of hollow reiatsu was over the top too much, way too much. It was time to try and focus, he needed to get to his job as a captain level shinigami Some of them were menos level at most, a lot of them regular hollows, this should be no problem for a mercenary. His usual eagerness wasn't behind his attacks anymore as he slashed around, his movements not as fast. His mind was holding him back. He was doing all fine until a menos began to crawl up on him, as one cut him, Ashito laid their with a wound. He thought about the point of battling, he was going to become one of them anyway.
At this point, his hollow side didn't take too well to this as he kicked in, his psycho side being shown, but not by him, but by his Vaizard mask that he had on. His instincts and power returning to him as his hollow side really didn't care to think, just attack blindly as his sword pierced the foes almost too easy, as he finished them off, the shinigami staring at him in amazement. The Vaizard side would soon try to go after them as well is what Ashito didn't know. Ashito knew when he got the idea as their minds knew what the other was thinking. Using what will power he had, he began to rip off the mask, in an attempt to stop him and save his division. Upon ripping it off, his breathing was heavy as he had even more to think about now.
What was that strange power and side that he had obtained? Could it be the effects of what the Vaizards did to him? The strange mask taking control, he only knew to rip it off of him when needed, would it take over? He sighed, he wanted all the answers now and to be cured. This began to happen more and more on missions as he got more distracted and more spaced out. What would come first? The cure of his ultimate doom to become one of them forever, just a hollow with more power than anyone. |

| Purification
The days went on and on, as his hollow began to take over him. More and more, his stubborn nature and will power decreased everyday, every minute and second. Every time his inner hollow took over, it took over for a longer time each time he tried to break loose. How long was it going to take till all of his will power had been drained and he became part hollow. Was the extra power worth his mentality being taken? He refused to let anyone or anything let him believe this nonsense. Losing this would mean losing all he is and becoming an empty shell. Though, his will weakening, he started to believe. Whether he liked it or not, it was going to be a done deal, or he could learn to control the inner hollow and become a master Vaizard. No, he would die without conscious of it. Either way the Gotei would kill him, he knew of their power and that it would soon produce a shinigami past his limits even as a shinigami, but that would take a long long time.
The twelfth division studied day in and day out on how on Vaizards work, where their powers come from and how they came to get their powers. Ashito was usually the person they used as an experiment. Keeping him in a caged cell like a common hollow, he saw many others in other cells as he stayed their. He knew this was for his own good, but it became a hassle at times when hollows got to him. How much longer was it going to take? He hated being contained, he was a hollow yes, but also a captain level shinigami. Possibly going to become an ex-captain, he hated the reality he lived in as he had so many hardships. Every now and then the twelfth division, trying many reiatsu absorbing methods. Such as injections of needles, domes and other methods. It seemed the closest was the domes, but it only absorb shinigami reiatsu, what was the problem?
Every day was the same for him. Locked in a cage, eating the meals they gave him, and occasionally let out to go on a mission here or there. At times they used his Vaizard powers to their best since he couldn't control him, he could still go insane and kill many lives uncontrollably, but shinigami being around to be a victim was a hazard. So, if any at all went with him, they were ordered to evacuate the area in this state, as they would most likely be killed. And any stupid enough to try and stay wouldn't escape after all, he was a huge speed demon. Also not knowing this, but he was to become "God of Flash" in the future.
The day had finally came, but he didn't know what events were to take place, as he sat in his cage a bit depressed, his will had been broken for the most part. It had been months and months since the Vaizard episode had begun, he refused to do what they did at all, he despised what they did to him and what they wanted him to be against his will. His Vaizard form taking over while he was inside of his cell again this time, it seemed to be much stronger than ever, his own self being dominated and he couldn't force himself to move one bit. What happens next was up to instinct, Ashito was no longer shinigami, he was a monster hollow with shinigami powers. All intelligence lost, just pure instinct to go on. What was going to become of him? The transformation had finally began and this was the end so it seemed.
As his rampage on Soul Society continued, he was relentless and showed no sign of giving up or leaving anyone alive. There was only one choice, they tried their best but they had to kill Ashito no matter the cost or Ashito would end the Gotei. So, Byakuya and Kenpachi was sent to take care of the now renegade Vaizard, why had it come to this? The battle went on, Ashito had his regular bankai as he released it on them, at this point he was able to even surpass Ichigo's speed. That smirk appeared on hsi face as he began to exchange blows between the captains, even for a Vaizard he was keeping up with them so well. In the long run Ashito could probably win as he knew all their tactics. The battle went on, no side being determined the victor as they knew this was pointless, why was Ashito succumbing to this?
Mayuri would have nothing of this as his appearance rushed into battle, stopping their blows as he held what looked like something developed by the twelfth division. The next thing you know, he had got Byakuya to help him, as they both started to cast Six Rods of Light kidou onto Ashito enable to hold his body down. Once done, Mayuri simply threw the device into the air as it recreated the dome Ashito, both halves of him knew very well in fact. The Vaizard thought it would have no effect. Though, Mayuri had found out the problem, the dome absorbs the shinigami gene reiatsu, as Ashito was a shinigami and now he had both of them flowing through his body. Mayuri knew he had to reverse the effects to hone in on his hollow reiatsu in order to absorb it out. What Ashito didn't know is that it would work this time. As his mask slowly disappeared, you could see a dark aura of reiatsu sort of evaporating into the dome. Though, it was only being stored into a special container Mayuri had also made.
The dome finally working, it seemed Mayuri had gotten their in time, now even if a Vaizard was fully complete, he could still cure them. He knew he had done well staring at Ashito as he laid their unconscious in his shinigami form, no longer a Vaizard the hollow side had been removed. They soon picked him up and returned him to the twelfth division for more scans as he would need many days of rest after all of these events.
The Hollow; Hakari is Born
It seemed it was time for the Gotei's rather twisted side, as some would call it. They had finally discovered a way to extract inner hollows from Vaizards to return them to their former selves. They had finally returned Junior Captain, Ashito Masaru to his normal self. Upon all of these sacrifices just to be one of the members of the Gotei, they decided it was time for a promotion. Showing such dedication to them was deserving of this type of movement in the Gotei. Not long after he recovered and was battle ready, he was promoted to "Senior Captain". Proud of all his achievements, he had not only lost his Vaizards power but had somehow become even stronger through all these events. It seemed his inner hollow had the ability to break his mind down and show false futures to him to break his will power, but once he was gone. It all returned to him, his confidence, will, stubbornness. Every thing was back to normal, but one thing. His memory of all his experience with the Vaizards, were they all like this? He didn't know and was going to be cautious and treat them all the same until he knows it was just those few select.
What Ashito didn't know is that they had all his extracted reiatsu forming his inner hollow, it was all trapped in a container under top confidentiality. No one but Mayuri and a few select shinigami were to know about this. The Captain Commander, allowed it but didn't like it too much. What could it hurt as long as Ashito knew nothing of it after all? Ashito was kept from this because he had been through enough experiementing, continuing experimenting with any part of him, knowing would probably upset him. So, they did as they did to see any differences from a normal hollow. The effects when it took over a shinigami sure made it seem like he was a powered-up hollow. The configuration of it was different, it seemed it had to have a host to live, and could take over like a virus in a sense. But, in order for it to survive without a host was a problem, it had a limited amount of time. It seemed it was time to figure out how to get a host for it and see what they could do, the dome came to mind, and so Mayuri went to fooling with it once more.
And so days where he didn't sleep was on, and estimated time of 2 months were made that his inner hollow would survive with no host. Mayuri had a lot to do with this machine on his hands. It seemed that the dome could absorb hollow reiatsu or shinigami reiatsu. That was a plus and it would be easy to kill a hollow this way and use it as a host. One problem though, how long would the body last in order for them to put in the new reiatsu? Not long, Mayuri guessed. So after all this thinking he used hollow after hollow for his experiments getting the most durable hollows and finding which one lasted longer. At most he found one that lasted five hours. Without hollow reiatsu the body would die, no organs or structure holding it up would cause a problem. Giving reiatsu to a shinigami with no reiatsu would be so much easier.
What was he going to do? Their was only one option and that was to get as many bodies for the experiment to take place and then once that happens, he would be able to start and test it all out. The bodies were sufficient and in place as each one was placed into the dome, each one would have to be timed perfectly. Each time they got closer and closer going through at least ten bodies. As he got closer and closer, Mayuri wondered if it would even work, continuing until he got it perfect. The hollows he used responded better as he went down the list getting more durable ones, the process almost complete with the twenty-fifth hollow he used. He soon built tubes especially for this time, seeing if it would help any at all. The dome would absorb all the outside reiatsu and the tube would absorb all the reiatsu inside of him. Mayuri was smart enough to build a second one, where they'd flow through Ashito's inner hollow's reiatsu into the body so he wouldn't die, but his reiatsu would change and maybe how he acted or thought would. The process had been complete, what would the changes be?
It seemed all this made him lifeless, as Mayuri thought the test and work was all for nothing as it seemed the hollow was just knocked out and would soon wake up and express changes and such, or stay his old primitive self. Time went by as the hollow was returned to a cell, waiting for days as it was unconscious. It finally woke up after four days, it exibited so physical change, but seemed more rash and angry than before. Containing the hollow with bakudou after bakudou, he seemed much stronger, was a inner hollow this much stronger than normal ones? It appeared so, the bakudou's becoming more and more intense as he broke through them, at least these weren't captain level shinigami or else he'd be dead. He exhibited the ability to talk at such a low form of a hollow, as he swore them over and over again. It seemed they couldn't keep him contained as he broke out as they ran out of reiatsu. He didn't care to eat anyone or anything, but just to get the hell out of there and become stronger. Would his feelings and mentality evolve to even more lengths where he would understand this? He escaped without anyone trying to stop him, but let him go to see how he would turn out. |
