Personality: he is a very reserved person only speaking when is needed. This adds particular value to when he does speak, making him a very valuable leader should the occasion arise. There is also a commanding presence about him that no one can explain, but none the less a valuable character trait. He also has piercing blue eyes which can send chills down ones spine at times. It is like he has invaded their inmost being just through eye contact. He can also be fairly arrogant because of his high prestige in the other life. It is a character flaw which must be overcome or else he will be smashed by the higher level shingami. Although he is very arrogant, he can be very compassionate at times. He was supposed to join the 4th division but was convinced otherwise because of some of his other talents. The only other fairly obvious component to his personality was that he despised most preppy shingami. He thought that shingami were warriors, not little school girls and should act appropriately. He knew this attitude would get him in trouble but he couldn’t control it.

Appearance: He is a typical young man with jet black hair that spikes towards the ends. He has piercing blue eyes. He has the typical black cloak of a shingami with his zan. He has sandals on his feet

History/Background: He was the son of a military leader on earth. His father was constantly away on the battle field which caused Akio to grow mature very quickly. He felt neglected because his father was never home and never had the true experience of a son. He learned a lot of strategies from his father on the few occasions when he was home on leave there and learned to apply them in growing in the military as well. About the time he was old enough to be eligible for the military academy, he was sent there. it was there that he learned the meaning of hard work and determination. His over seers were hard but provided the base for what he was to become later in life. Once he graduated from the academy, he went straight in the military as a platoon leader due to his father’s standing in the military as well as some of the unique talents that were shown by him in his time at the academy. He continued to rise from rank from that point switching from job as he climbed the military ladder. He eventually became an outstanding general in a very short of time. It was at the time he was a general that he was killed. One of the young men that he was leading reminded him very much of himself and he decided to take a special interest in him. Although it speared that he was being the toughest he could be on that particular individual, it was really because he wanted to see him succeed. The young man that he had picked to be his protégé had a very short temper though. After one particularly grueling day, he decided to take his pistol and kill his leader in an attempt to take the position. He just said it was as an accident. The general then became a soul reaper which he currently is. He has not started his life there yet so there is no story to have.
