Vizard
Name: Aoi, Skye
Age: 667
Visual age: 17
Ex-Division: 6th Divison Captain, 2nd Division Vice Captain
Appearance: Skye is five feet and six inches tall, and a bit shapely. She has fair, milk and honey skin, along with big olive green eyes, and full lips. She has medium length, layered, thick, and wavy golden brown hair that ends right below the shoulders. Skye wears a pair of blue Quincy Cross stud earrings. Her outfit consists of a black tank top, with dark blue jeans that are tucked into dark brown boots. She also wears fingerless brown leather gloves.
Personality: She's bright, kind, positive, and neutral. She can be quite sarcastic, and can adjust to most surprises with ease. Around others, Skye is sociable. She loves to use a made up vocabulary. Power is her only weakness, and strength. If there was no power to gain, she wouldn't still be alive. She has ambitions to become the strongest, and she's optimistic about the outcome of everything, even to life and death situations. She likes fighting, but mostly winning in general. Skye feels loyalty toward the Quincy race. She does not, however, like any of the Shinigami. She is extremely girly, giddy, and will always stand up for what she believes in. Skye is the kind of girl who would go to extremes. She would always find a way to get exactly what she wants, or else everybody else would come tumbling down with her. Skye has a strong relationship with her Zanpakutou, likewise to her Inner Hollow. She treats them like friends. That means she constantly gets on their nerves.
Background/History:
Life and Death
Skye was not such an average human. She grew up, adopted, and raised into a family of Quincies. Being around her brothers and sisters, she became spiritually aware, and manifested herself a special power. Although it wasn't manipulating spirit particles like her relatives, the abilities gave her a sense of belonging to a Hollow fighting family. She learned to hate Shinigami, and fight Hollow, just like a real Quincy. Skye went to private schools, where she learned a lot from extra curriculum activities such as self defense, and sword fighting. Due to her family's side business, she took up an interest in mastering the bow and arrow.
One misfortunate day, she and her siblings took turns guarding the neighbourhood. When a patrolling Shinigami got in Skye's way between her fight with a Hollow, he didn't understand that she would be left vulnerable while the Shinigami supposedly tried to save her. Because of the Shinigami's misunderstanding, and her hate for their kind, they started an argument about who should save who, and which person should fight. They were both murdered before the problem was solved, but Skye's soul managed to escape before being eaten. When Skye found her brothers and sisters in her current state, they were stricken with grief. Not wanting their daughter to become a Hollow, her parents were forced to make a decision in sending her to the Soul Society. That night, it was arranged for the town's Shinigami to perform a Soul Burial.
Hell
In the Rukongai Districts, Skye was not left wandering for long. She absolutely dreaded the massive land of civillians, and could only see one other option: The Seireitei. Skye knew she had the skills and knowledge needed to get stronger, so why not gain power in the afterlife? It was easy to get enough attention for people to realise that she should belong at the academy of the Seireitei. Skye was a rogue, taking part in countless battles on the streets of Rukongai. Whether they had meaning or not, she always tried to gain the attention of scouts searching out for new recruits. Eventually, she was accepted into the Soul Academy via one big bloody battle coincidently being for a very good cause. It raised the attention of the Shinigami.
Due to the academic curriculum of the school being as strict and familiar to her schools as a Human, Skye advanced through the classes with ease. Teachers, believing that she could aspire to become a very powerful Shinigami, placed her in enriched lessons. Believing that she could be of great service to the Seireitei, Skye was then administered into the Gotei 13 to start off as a normal squad member of the 6th Division. Within several years of becoming a division member, Skye completely mastered the Shunpo ability. She was later switched to the 2nd Division, where she worked on undercover missions specializing in stealth. She was very talented in this new group, and lead many famous assassinations. This gave her the title of Vice Captain. After a century of good service, Skye was returned to the 6th Division oncemore. Skye new that it would be surprisingly easy to climb up to the top. Much later, and could've been sooner, did she find herself in the Captain's seat of the 6th Division.
Just as Skye was proving to be a good leader, she found herself caught up in a conspiracy to kill a Co-Captain. Although Skye was arrested for being prime suspect of attempted murder, she was actually innocent. The history of her past experience in assassinations, and her own capable strength was her downfall. She spent mere days in the prison cell, remembering her past years as a Shinigami, and sketchy memories of a long lost human life. Then it hit her. She had no true loyalty to the Soul Society. Skye never recalled liking the Shinigami due to her origins of great dislike for them. That night, the Ex-Captain Shinigami attempted a breakout. It was fairly easy, as the cell she was trapped in was the very prison she spent years guarding. Upon escaping, Skye used the main Senkai Gate to escape to the World of the Living. Although her Shunpo was fast, she was still caught on surveillance, and the Shinigami set out to find her.
Far off in a forest around the outskirts of Karakura Town, Skye tried her best to stay hidden. That plan failed when a Hollow attacked her out of nowhere. The surprise sent her reiatsu flaring, and that tipped off the Shinigami big time. The sudden turn of events were not in her favor, as Skye attempted to break yet again another run for it. Several patrolling Shinigami, a group 2nd Division members, as well as the 6th Division Vice Captain joined her in the biggest chase of the century.
The group of Special Forces members chased her out to an open field before a cliff. There, waiting, was the 2nd Division Captain, as well as her old Vice. It all happened so fast. One second, she was racing towards the edge of the cliff to escape, the next second, all of her past allies closed in on her, and everything became a blur. A net of Shunpo'ing Shinigami trapped her within a dome where her Vice and Co-Captain stood. When Skye tried to fight back, her longtime ally did what she never thought he'd do. He slit her Soul Chain. The last thing she remembered before passing out was some Shinigami whispering that there was no point in bringing her back to the Seireitei, and that a patrolling officer would pick up the trash that she is, and dump her back to the Rukongai soon after. Within hours, she gained back consciousness. Still in unstable condition, Skye dragged the rest of her body to the end of the cliff, and fell forward. She crash landed onto a ledge, and lost all consciousness oncemore. Her reiatsu was too extremely weak at this point to attract anymore Shinigami.
Days later, Skye awoke to a really empty stomach, a sum of healed energy, and unfamiliar faces. A band of Ex-Shinigami had taken her in, and nursed her back to health. Although she should hate their kind, she couldn't help but feel grateful. They warned her that as time went by, Skye would soon go through changes that were unwelcomed, unless she went back to the Soul Society. Refusing to believe that she couldn't live a peaceful afterlife without having to deal with the Soul Society, Skye disbanded from their group, and went in search of a way to gain her powers back. Power was the only other reason to keep living. Even if she had to become a Shinigami again. Skye stayed hidden and secure within unpopulated vincinities of the country. For weeks, she stayed in meditation and concentration in trying to contact the spirit of her past Zanapakutou. Upon establishing a connection with Dokueki Dyuo, and regaining her Shinigami powers via a long discussion about where her loyalties lay, Skye braced herself for the most shocking news of all.
Rebirth
Interlapping, was the renewal of Dokueki Dyuo, as well as the Hollowfication process. Because it was still premature, the affects didn't take place until later that night, when the sky was pitch black. On the night of the New Moon, when nothing else could distract her, Skye fought back to suppress the growing Inner Hollow. Her Hollow, she concluded with. Even with only a day's preparation, Skye won the battle of control over her inner world. In her mind, lay a dense jungle rainforest. And contained within it, was Araceli. She learned to accept that this Hollow was going to stay, and that if she didn't have the conversation of loyalties with the spirit of her Zanpakutou before, then she wouldn't have fought so hard in gaining control over Araceli. On that day, Skye became the Shinigami reject, and on that night, she became a Vizard.
Skye travelled the world as a nomad, and divided her time into training several different things. To strengthen the bond of her Zanpakutou, she conquered the Shikai level one hundred percent. While being in the 2nd Division, Skye didn't get to release her sword very often enough, as it was all but fighting quick, and ensuring the other's death in the fastest way possible. The training of her mask was held off for a while, due to skepticism of using her Inner Hollow. She finally got around to training with it, which made Araceli very pleased, to say in the least. Upon mastering the summoning of her mask, and becoming a novice with it's abilities, Skye was ready to return to her favorite ability: Shunpo.
Due to the severing of her Soul Chain, the ability faltered from complete control. In several years, Shunpo was yet again her specialty. Skye believed it needed to be maintained to grow faster. She was very serious and determined in surpassing the speediest of the Shinigami. After several hundred years of training solo, Skye found her way back to familiar scenery.

It had something to do with the sky. She looked up. Yep. There was a crack in the sky. Hades mentioned the Shinigami, and she had to hold herself back from spitting at their name. Skye looked up at the Human, "Yes...It is their job..But they might be too preoccupied with what ever else is down there." She pointed her chin towards the direction to her left. Far beyond that, it seemed like a group of powerful deities were clashing. Some of them not distinguishable from the known races.
Just as a messenger of war attempted to run past them, Skye noticed an angry mob tagging along. The Hollow that ran past them didn't get a second chance, as she had unnoticably and quickly stabbed a hole through it's face. The creature disappeared before it could even take a step past her position. There had to be about a little less than a dozen Hollow in that group. They looked vicious. Of course. Instead of viewing their reflection from her sword, Skye turned around.
"Holy....", she didn't count that as a Hollow pun. The big one was a sight. A good challenge. Skye sideglanced at Hades. He seemed like the right arrogant guy to take on the beast. Then again, she wasn't worried in facing it if she had to. "Oh welly well. There are still nine others to take care of.", Skye thought. The Vizard proposed, "Hades, let's split them evenly. You take that big one, and three others. I'll clean up the rest."
"Thkye...You haven't thummoned me in weekth...", the serpent hissed impatiently. Skye contradicted, "It's only been one week, but it might help this situation resolve faster." The Vizard looked down at her sword, as it replaced itself to the front. "Stream into blood..." The blade transformed like liquid metal into the black kama that belonged to Dokueki Dyuo. Skye grabbed the Kusarigama's chain. The pack of Hollow was before them both now.
Skye threw the kama blade over the heads of the Hollow. The connected chain was still in her hands. Lowering the weapon over one of the creatures upfront, the Vizard tugged on the chain, and pulled it back. The blade effectively teared the Hollow's head in half. Skye repeated the same attack two more times, as the monsters were too dull to think anything of it as of yet. Swing! Clunk! Another one. Swing! Clunk! She decided to get up closer. The Vizard then primarily held onto the hilt, and swung around the chain. It tied up the nearest Hollow's arms, and she lunged in, stabbing it in the back of the head through to the mask in the front. There were two of her's left. She decided to take a second's break to see how Hades was doing.
