Personality: Valen is a very cold, callous, dispassionate figure, and is rather aloof, brooding, and indifferent, willing to harm both his comrades and enemies should they ever get in his way. He refers to anyone he does not find interesting as "trash" and treats them as expendable. His cold demeanor allows him to stay completely calm and in control in most situations, and he is not easy surprised or caught off-guard.

Life

In his life on earth, Valen was a pro boxer, he took down muhammed Ali. He had 13 championship wins.In an illegal racket he won another round, after the fight was rigged to let the opposition win, Valen was shot down.

Life as Shinigami

Valen woke up in the Soul Society. He wandered the Rukongai for a while. He was soon found by the the Head of The Kasumiōji Family. He didn't give his name. He watched Valen Pratice with a wood sword and soon lend him to the Shinigami Academy. Valen entered, and not to long after entering. He passed with flying colors. Valen after he left the Academy. He joined the 4th Division Squad. He soon rose thru the Ranks and became Lt. The Head of The Kasumiōji Family soon brought him into there house, and he was brought into the family as a full son. The head leader soon died. After, years of being the Lt. of Squad 4. Valen wanted to be the Head of The Kasumiōji Family, but this right was traditionally for only girls. So Valen made a Meeting with the elders of the Family and the New Head of The Family. He made his case against the Family and the Head of it. Yet, She was completely calm through out the whole meeeting. Soon after, the elders told him that he would have to fight for head of the family. So he did. Valen came out on top and killed the Former head of the family and became the new one. He spent years that that poisiton until he felt something inside of him growing.

Hollow Life

After, Valen found out he was a Vizard. He soon surpressed his hollow and was forced to leave the S.S. He soon found Hakushin Kuchiki, a vizard aswell, and become his Mame Montei(Faithful Disciple). He traveled the world with Haku looking for a town or at least a group of vizards. They had no such luck. Now Valen has left Haku to train a little. Haku has sent a report to him about him Finding Aeikke. Now, Valen is on his way to find him again.
