Personality: Togire is smug, arrogant, and generally unlikable. This is caused by his supreme confidence in his ability to win any battle. His tendency to be very direct in his mannerisms have also earned him plenty of ire, but at the same time, allow him to effectively lead men and women into combat. He has a love for combat that only a member of the eleventh division could have. His mouth tends to get him in trouble, sometimes.

History/Background: Before death, Togire Yaiba was a SWAT operative in the United States who was sent to Japan with a small group of others to demonstrate US police tactics at a conference for Japanese police officers. Because of his ethnicity and his knowledge of the Japanese language, he was one of the few from his department chosen. During a demonstration that was supposed to using blanks, one of the team members had accidentally been issued a magazine full of live ammunition. Togire was the only casualty.

With no memories of his past self, Togire awoke in the Rukongai Districts. There, he quickly discovered his spiritual power and enrolled at the academy. Upon graduation, he immediately joined in the 11th Division.
