Personality: Yuuga is simply explained as elegant and classy. He is very serious about a lot of things and is easily annoyed by loud and obnoxious people. Yuuga is very formal with people. He may seem a bit cold, but he has an undeniable deep care for others.

Appearance: Yuuga stands at 5’’7. He has pale skin and sparkling blue eyes. His long black hair reaches down his back. He wears the standard shinigami clothing in addition to a sea blue sash around his waist with a golden snowflake seal on the end of the part that hangs down.
History/Background: Born in a small village in Japan, Yuuga lived with his family for a few years after his birth, until an illness had struck his family. Yuuga survived and was taken in by an elegant family along with his cousin Shiruba. They were brought to a mansion in the forest outside of another village. It was here with his new family that Yuuga grew a taste for beauty and elegance.

It seemed that they lived in peace there. Yuuga found out that Shiru was sneaking out now and then to go somewhere that he hadn’t learned about. Yuuga cared a lot for his cousin and didn’t think it was safe for her to just sneak out by herself, but Yuuga didn’t dare get in the way of what made her happy as it seemed she wasn’t content with living the way they were.

A plague had hit the village nearby and they were quarantined in the mansion. Yuuga noticed Shiru leaving again and finally took it upon himself to follow her as he knew it was dangerous. Yuuga hadn’t seen Shiru so committed to something as she was to the garden and to help the people, this lead to Yuuga instead helping Shiru instead of trying to stop her. Yuuga caught the sickness soon after Shiruba did and passed away a bit after, his soul was collected by a passing shinigami and brought to the soul society.

Yuuga roamed rukongai aimlessly with no goals and nowhere to go. He missed his cousin dearly and didn’t even know where to start to look for her, if she even was in the soul society. He learned about the gotei 13 and their shinigami academy. He joined them and quickly graduated their ranks. He was brought into the 4th division after Shiruba’s exile, still not knowing she was even around.

Yuuga began to become depressed being in the 4th division as he could remember Shiruba’s will to heal people. He was planning on switching his position until he found out Shiruba returned as the 4th division captain. Ecstatic about this, Yuuga remained in the 4th division to remain close to Shiru.
