| Name: Kisuke Kaiten Age: 579 Visual Age: 22-25 [Roughly] Division: 5th Division Captain Appearance: Personality: Kisuke, despite his carefree and happy-go-lucky demenour, is a very kind, often serious and sometimes heroic. He normally doesn't like to brag, unless he does it for fun, or to tease his peers, and talks with a very gentle, though kinda playful tone. He normally seems to be happy, and prefers that he and his squad get along well. He doesn't mind if people refer to him without the word Captain behind his name, but gets annoyed if he is disrespected. Although, he does tend to get serious when dealing with some important buisness, and can't tolerate slackers. He is quite friendly, and fun to talk to and be with, though he has the habit of doing the most unpredictable things, not caring even if it involves break the law. He is a brilliant strategist, and has a natural sense of battle. He prefers to spend his free time, with his friends. History: Kisuke was a young man who was bron into a family of a rich buisness man. He had one older Broher, Kai. He was some sort of genius. A nice man, extremely smart, and very capable. He had a talent for excelling in everything he did, which was believed to have passed down to Kisuke, who was 10 years younger to him. Kisuke had always looked upto Kai. Kai, at the age of 9 had already learnt all the knowledge his teachers had to offer. He was considered to be a genius ny his teachers, and was held in high regard by almost everyone, specially his peers. When he was 14, he joined his fathers buisness, and in 2 years, took over from him. But a buisness man was not all he was. He was also a brilliant musician. He was all that a parent would want in a child. Then came along Kisuke. Kisuke was a genius beyond all belief. Although he was a genius, he was also easy-going, though a perfectionist none-the-less. He was always, sort of, in competition with Kai, though most of his inspiration also came from Kai. He had always admired him and wanted to be like him. But sadly enough, When Kisuke was just 8, Kai died. He was killed in an explosion, which was caused by a small fire-crackers, accidently making its way to a large store of Kerosene. He died trying to save the lives of the young kids who were playing with the crackers. Although Kisuke was sad, his admiration for his brother increased yet, and he knew then, that, that is the kind of person he wanted to be. While he was already considered a genius, he worked even harder, to become better yet. He learnt everything he could about buisness. Although he wasn't interested in music, he was quite enthusiastic about Warefare, and this lead to him learning the how to fight using a sword. Although it had only been a year, he had already obtained a high status as a swordsman. In about 7 more years, he was already heading the families buisness, and had mastered the Ryo no Hitmitsurugi Style of Swordsman-ship, and yet, he always seemed to have free time to hang around with friends, and enjoy himself. Most people enveyed him and those who didn't admired him, so he kinda always yearned to be normal, but he was far from it. In the beginning, when his powers had just started to appear, he felt like he had excess energy. He wouldn't get tired as often as he used to, and felt... well, the only way he could describe it was, he felt 'better' than he normally did. He just thought that this was some of his stress, which had been releaved, and decided to not pay much attention to it. Even though he could roughly see the disruptions in the air caused by spirits, he refused to believe in them. But, about roughly a month and a half, his powers began grow again, and this time, in leaps and bounds. The same spirits he once saw as hazy figures in the air, now appeared to him as clear as any other humans. Infact, his spiritual powers were kinda going out of control. It was somthing like opening a bottle of some Cold Drink, after shaking it thoroughly. His powers were just sort of leaking out him, with enough left. It was quite clear by now, that he wasn't normal, but he couldn't go around telling this to just anyone, least he be thought of as a mad-man. So he decided to keep this as his own secret, or so he had hoped. Another 3 months had passed, and his 17 Bithday was drawing near, and he could feel that this new 'power' had grown stronger than ever before. He felt like he was over-flowing with it.By this time, Not only could he see ghosts, but he was also able to see Hollows, although he had just seen one, and that too, a very small one. He was a bit scared, but he knew that if push came to shove, he would use his training as a swordsman to kill his enemies, but what he did not know was that you could only kill spirits with Soul Slayers, or any such Reitsu based weapon. Finally, it was his 17th Birthday, and his powers were completely unleashed. He could now feel its presence as clear as he could feel his heart beating. His powers had, infact, grown so large, that they had attracted the attention of several other Spiritually aware beings, including hollows. One night, he was returning back from work. It was roughly, 8 or 9 and the streets were partly crowded. As he walked across the street, he heard a cry. It sounded like a small child crying, but he thought it was his imagination and decided to go on. He heard it again, and this time, he decided to go and check what it was. As he entered the forest, he tried to follow the childs voice. After 10 mintues of searching, he saw, what he thought, was a small child, crying near a small open field, next to the lake. He slowely approached the boy, asking " Hello Little boy. Are you lost, or did you hurt yourself ? " and placed a hand on his shoulder. But as he turned to see the boys face, his eye's widened, to see that instead of his face, there was a White Mask. Suddenly, what seemed to be a cord attached to the boy, emerged from the ground below him, leading to the nearby tree. A moment later, he saw a black figure heading towards him. He wanted to jump out of the way, but he noticed that, the child like thing was holding onto him. He had seen a Hollow before, but didn't know what it was, so he was scared. He tried tojerk his hand away, but it didn't work. He was about to give up all hope, when he saw a thick piece of a wood was lying nearby. He jumped for it, reaching it just in time, as he placed it between the the Hollows Jaws, preventing him, from snapping his powerful jaws on Kisuke's head. The stick pierced the Hollows Jaw, causing it to scream. The pain caused the Hollows grip on his hand to let go, allowing him, to move to the side, and follow up with a powerful roundhouse, sending the hollow flying. As the Hollow regained balance mid-air, Kisuke took a fighting position, ready to strike if it tried to attacka gain. Surely enough, the hollow attack him, sending his hude body, towards him, but this time, when the hollow came near him, instead of attacking directly, it jumped up, and dove int othe ground. Kisuke realized that it was going to attack him from below the surface, so he made a run for it, trying to reach for the nearest tree. As he neared the tree, he felt the grounf beneath him crack up, as the hollow jumped at him, but Kisuke was fast enough, to avoid the attack, and jumped of the hollows back, to get to the tree. Ss he was, maybe a metre of so away, he heard a whistling sound. As he touched the tree's branch, he looked back, and saw the small child like figure coming at him, with amazing speed. Only this time, it had spikes instead of hands. Kisuke had just landed on the branch, so he knew he couldn't jump again, without loosing a limb, but he had to try, so he did something the hollow would never expect. He jumped over the hollow, in an attempt to land behind it. But the Hollow was fast as well. While Kisuke was still air borne, it turned course, and headed towards Kisuke. He couldn't just turn direction in mid-air, so as the Hollow moved towards him, he decided, that he would let the blade's strike him, and use his dagger, to stab it. As the hollow neared him, his heart started beating faster, and every second felt like an eternity. As the moment drew closer, he took a deep breath, and drew his dagger, ready to feel the piercing pain. But just as he was about to be stabbed, he felt soemthing coming towards him at an even faster pace, and before he knew it, the figure, garbed in black, stabbed the hollow with his Zanpakuto-o and had already made off. He was stunned. He had never seen move so fast. He was literally stunned, by the figure's speed. He was only able to see the blade striking the Hollow and the black figure move away from him, dissapearing into the mist over the lake. As he got up, he grabbed his wrist, which got sprained, when he mae that quick turn on that tree. He could have taken on the Hollow if he had his sword, but since he was unarmed he was barely any match for it. He realized that he had to become stronger, but before any of that, he wanted to know what all of this buisness, with spirits, and monsters was. A few weeks later, he got a lettre, from someone he wished to remain anonymous. He told him, that if he wished to find out about what happened to him that day by the lake, he should visit the man on the given address, and that he should come alone. Since the place he had to reach was nearby, he got dressed, and immidiately went, to try and get an explanation for all of the recent happenings. It was here that he met an entire group of spiritually aware humans, who explained to him, and Plus' and Hollows. They told him about Shinigami and Soul Soceity, and explained to him, that with the enormous amount of spirit power he possesed, he was just a moving target. They told him, that they would teach him how to control it, and how to fight the hollows. They even decided to teach him some special spells, humans could use for thier protection. Giving the excuse that he was going to see a freind who was unwell, in another province, Kisuke took of to train and to learn. 8 weeks had passed, and Kisuke had learnt everything he could about fighting the Hollows. Since he was already a master swordsman, learning hand-to-hand was no great feet for him. It was learning to control and supress his Reitsu and to sense others which was difficult. But he managed to learn it, in quite a short time by comparisson. After about 12 weeks, the men who were training him, said that he was as strong as he was going to get. They told him, that he could use the spells they taught him, but only if the Hollows were attacking. Armed with a powerful arsenal of Sword and Hand based Combat skills and a few powerful spells, Kisuke returned home to continue to live his reguelr old life, though he did add combat training to this Routine. He figured that even if he wasn't fighting any hollows, he still needed to become stronger. So he trained and he trained, till his entire body hurt, but he took it in as a small price, compared with the end result. Death Two years had passed since then, and his training had really helped him out a lot. He wasn't the best fighter in the world. Not even near it, but he was good enough to fight almost any hollows. He was walking home from work. It was a long day, and it was already Midnight. As he walked through the forest, which saved atleast half an hour on his way back home, he heard a howling sound, as if someone, was in deep pain and agaony, shouting for help. He ran towards the sound, believing it was a hollow attacking an innocent person, but what he saw there, left him with a grim feeling. He felt move up his spine, as he saw, Kai's, writhing in pain, as the Mask on his face was partially formed. He knew he had no choice but to supress Kai, till a Shinigami found him. But if he did that, Kai would eventually be free, and he would have no choice but to eradicate him. He did know one spell, which could be used to send a Hollow to Soul Society. It involved using a small fragment of a Soul Slayer with the Destruction spell to purify the Hollow. Without a second thought, he took out his only fragment which was wrapped in a small paper. As he took it out, he placed it in his hand, and then used a Paper Charm with the letter 'Kill' on it. He unwrapped the fragment, and placed it on the Lettre, and began the spell " With the destructive power of this Charm, and the Purifying effect of this fragment, i summon the eternal spirit of this tanted beast, and seperate it from its Empty self. I give it the passage to Heaven, and burn away its Sin's after death, and with this plea on thy heart, open the gate's and let this spirit be once and for all, Purified ", and with that, he let his Reituse flow into the charm, activating it. This was ofcourse was a very powerful spell, so it requireda large and steady flow of Reitsu. But the thing was, that this spell could only purify a complete hollow. Since Kai, was only in the process of turning into one, and whats more, since he was resisting it, the spell had to first turn him into a Hollow to take effect. But Kai's resistance increased the Reitsu cost, making it impossible for Kisuke to sustain it for long. As the mask formed completely on Kai's face, Kisuke was forced to let go of the spell. The fragment had been used up, and Kisuke had no mroe Reitsu left to use any more Spells. He tried to run away but it was no use. Kisuke had lost far too much Reistu, and even before he could move a muscle, he felt something piercing his chest. The next thing he knew, he could see his body, lying on the ground, and a chain connected to his chest. He was already in soul form. He wanted to run, but couldn't as he heard his brothers cry. It was a painful cry. He knew that it was because of him. If he had let his brother be, he would never have turned in to a hollow. Had all those years of training been useless. He couldn't even defend himself, nor could he save his older brother. As he sat down, he looked at his brother once again. THe mask wasn't completely there. Just a small part, which was supposed to cover the right eye was missing. As he looked in horror, Kai thrust his arm at Kisuke. He managed to dodge, but the attack caused his chain of fate to break. He suddenly began to feel as if he was 100ft underwater. The pressure he felt was immense, and he could'nt move. He buckled down, and grabbed his chest, as he gasped for breath. He looked up, and saw, his brother, with his hand raised above his head, ready to end it. As he gasped for air, he looked into his brother's deep red eye's and said, "Sorry, brother" and with that, smiled, and waited, for his demise. But before his brother could finish him, he felt a presence similiar to that he had felt 2 years ago, when he was fighting that hollow. It was the same Shinigami who had rescued him all those years ago. A moment later, he saw his brother's body, pierced with the Soul Slayer. As his brother's body began to disintegrate, the mask, fell of, and he saw his brother's face once again. He was smiling. Whether it was because Kisuke was spared or because he got to meet him again, he wasn't sure about that, but that smile, relieved him from the pain of having turned his brother into a hollow. He slowely got up, as he started to feel normal again, probably due to a spell by the Shinigami. He walked up to the mask, an picked it up, and turned around to face the Shinigami. " Thank You, for Saving him " and saying that, he nodded. The Shinigami nodded back in response and used the Soul Burial to send Kisuke to Soul Society.

| Rukongai, A new Beginning
His eye's opened, but everything was hazy, he tried to see what was around him, but all he could see, were blury shadows of something quite tall. He guessed they were tree's from the shape. He rubbed his eye's and yawned. How many days had it been ? who knew ? in Rukongai, keeping track of time was quite difficult, specially for someone as carefree as him. But somehow, he was different then how he was back when he was alive. WHen he was alive, he had to fullfill the expectations of his family, so his attitude was carefree, but a bit serious. He never actually smiled. Sure if someone made him laugh, thats a different thing, but on a normal basis, he wasn't what one could call, a happy man. Here, he had to full fill no expectations and he could be as carefree and as easy going as he wanted to be, so he normally had the a smile on his face. The smile really did go well with his face, and made him seem like a fox, which earned him the nickname, Kitsu-San. He was very populer among the kids, in Sector 3. He was a nice guy, who everyone liked, and and who liked everyone. His happy-go-lucky and acrefree nature, yet calm, and logical personality was what made him so popular. Aside from that, everyone in Sector 3 knew that no one messes with Kisuke. He may be a carefree man, but he can seriously kick some butt.
Kisuke lived alone in his hut, which was near the forests of Rukongai. He chose that location since he needed food, as he had spiritual powers. It was also a good place to practice his fighting skills. He was aiming to pass the Shinigami Academy as soon as he could and become a Shinigami, but for that, he would have to polish his Reitsu Control, and fighting skills. For a few more years, Kisuke practiced hard to become better at fighting. Although he still trained as hard as he did in his real life, he was actually quite happy, since he was doing something he wanted to.
Entering the Academy was not difficult. He was accepted in the first try, and graduated the 6 year course in just 1 year, giving him the title of a genius. A lot of peopel thought that he was a genius, and so he graduated in such a short amount of time. But in reality, he had trained before he entered the academy, and so he didn't find it as difficult, as someone who is completely new to cotnrolling his or her Reitsu or to Swordsman-Ship. Sinceh e graduated with flying colors, and was a specialist in Reistsu control and Swordsman Ship, with his Unique style of Ryo no Hitmitsurugi, he was added to Division 5, incharge of Sertei Defense. He was given the 5th Seat directly after graduation, in recognition of his talents. from here on, there was no stopping him. The speed with which Kisuke grew in strength was amazing. He moved upto 4th Seat and then to 3rd in less than 20 yrs. It was sometime during this period when he achieved Shikai.
Given the destructive nature of his Zanpakuto he was shifted to the 11th Division as Vice-Captain, somewhere within the next few years. Being part of this Division really helped him develop his Skills as a Swordsman, and he gained most of his new abilities during this phase. Having served in the 11th Division, for about 20 years, Kisuke was finally able to achieve Bankai. One day, while he was resting, a hell moth was sent to recieve him. He was asked to present himself infront of the Captain Commander. Obeying orders, he quickly got dressed in his Vice-Captain robes, and proceeded to the Captain Commanders Chamber, where he saw all the Captains of the Gotei 13. He was asked to come forth, whicyh he did. The Capt. Com. and told him that he was being promoted to Captain of the 5th Division. He was over-joyed, but he obviously didn't let it show. Its been quite some time since he's been the Captain of the 5th Division now.
[ Sorry, i Kinda got impatient at the ending ]
RP Sample: This is a sample from a looooong time ago. Its from some naruto Site. Spare me the Spell errors please.
Sajiro was sitting on a wooden chair, near the Window of his appartement. He was looking out at the sky while drinking some Tea. He had recently been promoted to Jounin, and he was supposed to meet his new team the next day. Aww... man, this is such a pain, i gotta prepare for my meeting with the new Genin. There's so much to do... and i was supposed to be on a Holiday today. I wish the guys who assign the teams would tell us this kinda stuff a few weeks in advance and not just one day before. He drank the last bit of tea and stepped out of the appartement, making sure he locked it properly. He stepped outside and began to slowely make his way to the Market Area. He was revising the list of required items in his head. Okay... so i need 2 bells, about 25m of Rope, and 2 lunch box's. Dammit, who the hell made this bell tradition... can't they just pick the Genin by holding a tournament or something ? While he was revising the list, he reached the market, and started shoping. He found the lunch box's and the Rope pretty fast. But he still needed to find the Bells. That was the hard part, since those bells were the one thing that were very hard to find in Konoha. After about 2 hours of Searching, he finally found the bells. As soon as he got the bells, he started to walk back home. Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice from behind, " Sajiro !!! Where's my Money ?!?!?!? ". As soon as Sajiro head that, he panicked, DAMMIT.... i forgot the old farts cash... . The old man walked upto Sajiro and said, " Damn You Nara... its been 2 months ! when do you plan on returning the money ". You could clearly see the anger on the man's face. Sajiro took out his wallet and opened it, for the man to see. It was full of bills and papers. " See that. I spent it all already, I've been broke fo 4 days now n i have to pay all these bills ". " Really, then how do you explain that bag full of shopping stuff ? " he said, starting to calm a little. Sajiro looked at the bag. Then he looked back up at the man n said " This is from the Academy... i have to give the genin a small test, and this is a part of it ". Clearly, Sajiro was good at lying. Bu the man new him all too well, and didn't buy that yet, " Now Sajiro, listen up. I want my money by the end of the week. Get the money to my house, or Else ! ". Sajiro ignored the threat, and to end the pointless arguement, said " Yeah Sure... ill be there ", and then he turned around, and left for his house. When he was sure he was at a safe distance, he took out his wallet, took out a load of cash from inside. " Heh Heh Heh. Basic Ninja Skill: Henge ". Saying that, he put it back in his pocket and took out the key. Opening the lock, he entered, and latched the door. He had spent almost 4 hours outside, while doing something as futile as shopping. He put the shopping bag on his table, and jumped onto his bed. Reaching for a bottle of Soda, and a book, he propped a pillow against his bed, and relaxed the entire evening, reading his book " Make-Out Paradise ". The next morning was average. He got up pretty late, got ready, and went to the academy to meet his team. When he reached there, he saw an empty room, with the Head Academy Teacher sitting thier alone. He entered n said " Where are the Genin Im supposed to be training ? ". The Man looked up and said " Er.. yeah, about that. We appointed someone else. You will be getting a different set of students. Thier Class started a few months late, so they will be graduating in a little while. Sorry for the trouble." Sajiro stood there with wide-eye's. Aww Man... this is such a pain ....
