Kagura no Meikyou

Kagurakyou appears in the guise of a human teenager. She tends to have an attitude, and act in an unrefined manner. Her personality is rather at odds with the traditional forms she takes as a blade. Kagura no Meikyou acts somewhat like an older sister to Mai, albeit a rather exuberant one. She is exceedingly prideful and sometimes rather vain.

Sealed Zanpaktou: Mai’s Zanpaktou strangely enough manifests itself as two blades. A katana and wakizashi, in other words a daisho. Other then the strange manifestation, her zanpakuto is rather normal looking. The blades themselves appear to be made of a strange silvery-white metal. At times the metal appears to glow eerily.

Shikai: Kagura no Meikyou takes the form of an elegant naginata in it’s shikai state. The shaft is made of a hard teak like metal, of a dark grey-black color and generally Mai’s height, however it tends to lengthen at times. The blade is a little less than three feet long, made of the same metal as it’s sealed state and the tsuba is ornately carved. A silver-purple piece of silk is tied mid-way up the sheath.

Shikai Ability: Kagurakyou’s shikai ability is that it can call up and control the bones and skeletons that Mai has collected either from past enemies or other somewhat sordid avenues. These bones can be used in either a skeleton form or just bits and pieces, and if the zanpakutou is broken or resealed they return to it. (Bones have to be gained through actual RP.)

Technique One ~ Hitotsu Odori (First Dance) Mai can effect the bones of her opponent, forcing one to exit the body. This effects only one bone. The bone then becomes part of her zanpakutou. This process is extremely painful, as the bone exits the body through whatever means possible, although Mai cannot control the path it takes.

I wanted to repost my Zanpakutou as the original form was made without much thought in an attempt to rush things.

Sealed Zanpakutou: Mai’s Zanpaktou strangely enough manifests itself as two blades. A katana and wakizashi, in other words a daisho. Other then the strange manifestation, her zanpakuto is rather normal looking with shiny black sheaths and white designs on the handles. The blades themselves appear to be made of a strange silvery-white metal. At times the metal glows eerily.



Shikai: In Shikai the blades do not change other than to grow more ornate. Silvery-white markings swirl along both the actual blade and the sheath. A length of purple/silver silk is attached directly after the tsuba, while the guard itself grows more elaborate including small carvings. The whole zanpakutou appears to glow a bright purple/silver color, waxing and waning in brightness.

Shikai Ability: Kagura's shikai ability is that it can control bones. Generally this is used to call up and control the bones and skeletons that Mai has collected from past enemies or other somewhat sordid avenues. These bones can be used in either a skeleton form or just bits and pieces, and if they are broken or destroyed they reform. The bones all vibrate at a high level of speed, giving off an audible buzzing sound. The high levels of sound pressure radiating from the bones if there is any large grouping of them can rattle the inner ear and cause a loss of balance/vertigo.
