Personality: Itami was always a hot-headed person. He always stood up for himself, and never backed down. Itami when fighting is known to insult the enemy. He rarely smiles, and is used to being made fun of because of his height. Itami usual hits someone in their stomach if they insult him about his height.

Background/History:

Itami grew up in France. He lived a wonderful life. Itami soon found out that he wasn't french, but Japanese. His parents wern't actually his parents either. There they called him Mal. Itami was horrified when he heard this. He was soon to be married to his fiance, and he knew it would break her heart if he left. Itami had a huge decision on his shoulders. Itami knew he would regret the choice he mad, but he did it anyway. Itami boarded the next boat to japan. He got there then he thought of himself as a fool. He had no where to go, didn't speak Japaneses, and had no money.He was forced to sleep on the streets. That night he went to bed he was murdered. His fiance sent men to kill him. Itami could see that coming.



When Itami reached the soul society he was assigned to the tenth division. He never liked being a Shinigami and found taking hollows lives was meaningless. He soon would never do his work. He left soul society and find out how to become a hollow. Itami walked, and walked, and walked. He had spent days away from Soul society. His legs soon gave out in the middle of no where. Angrier built up inside of him and was released in a hollow form. Itami pulled himself to his feet in his hollow form. The strength over whelmed Itami. He couldn't keep the form very long. His body gave out as soon as he got the form.



Itami could no longer use his hollow in battle. His hollow was to powerful for Itami's body. Itami needed help. Again he traveled mile, after mile, after mile. One day his body gave out right in front of a house. The resident help Itami rest up. They fed him, gave him a place to sleep, and gave him money. But one thing they did helped Itami a lot. They residents there were very old. The man wanted to help Itami with his hollow. Itami couldn't accept that. They had done enough for him already. But he refused to let Itami leave until he learned how to use his hollow. Itami stayed there was week longer than he wanted. At the finial day of that week he had mastered his hollow. Itami visited the people daily. They always welcomed him with a hug. They soon became like a family.
