Shikai Ability: In shikai Shin gains the ability to teleport through an alternate dimension. When he teleports he both disappears and reappears in a dark cloud of smoke. The smoke is very dense and hard to see through, and smells of brimstone.

To anyone no accustomed to the strain of teleportation becomes weaker with every time they pass through the dimension.

Bankai: Shin grows a long demon like tail, and his skin gains a black tint, and emanates smoke much like his sword did before.

Bankai Ability: Shin gains the ability to cut through dimensions themselves. Theoretically he can use this to open worm holes, cut through barriers.

Techniques:

Negative aura (shikai) - Shin surrounds himself with negative energy produced by the dimension he travels through, which cloakes his retsu to the outside world, and disrupts people from intercepting his nerves, and brainwaves.

Tear through space (bankai)- By holding on to something and teleporting with it, Shin can actually choose to take only a selected portion of what he's holding. Such as if Shin was to to grab someone's arm he could rip it off by teleporting with just the arm, and nothing else. can only be used once per battle

Dimensional tear (bankai) - By cutting through the barriers of two dimensions simultaneously, Shin creates a dimensional tear that vibrates at a fast speed, effectively acting like a big black energy saw. 2 turn cooldown
