If he flee before the ennemy was taken down or until he reaches his limits, its because he have a good reason for it. He close to never have emotions. No fear, no pain, no pity etc. Hirokai will always finish the job. He wont spare any lives if he can take them out.

Child Ark:
Hirokai was born a while ago, in the Seireitei . He was the first children of his parents, so when they got Hiro, it was the joy all around. The Hondô clan was possessing a small district in the Seireitei because they were quite some. Hiro was a good child, he was listning to his parents, he was polite and everything. He was spending his time with the other childs playing around acting like Shinigamis and stuff because they all wanted to go to in one of the divisions together.

Shinigami Ark:
Well, that's where now Hirokai is, beiing a brand new shinigami, but even there, he already knows his Zanpakuto's Name and can unleash his Shikai. He has been putted in the 10th Squad and will now began to learn more about their jobs...
