Shikai: In terms of appearance, the sword itself doesn't undergo much of a change, but a small region between the hilt and the blade is formed, which hosts a wheels on either side. These wheels are about the same width as the hilt. They appear to be armored with a strong shell, that gives it the appearance of having many small spikes protruding from its circumference, and the design is in an arc like form. In the centre, there is a jewel like core, that represents the Flow.
Shikai Ability: The Zanpakuto, is one of a kind, and quite a rare sort. The Zanpakuto on its own, has more or less a limited range of abilities. Its true versatility is revealed against an enemies technique. The Zanpakuto in its Shikai state, controls what it calls, the flow. In the words of the Zanpakuto spirit, the Flow is a representation of the energy that flows between the warrior and his environment. How ? A simpler explanation would be, that the Flow can be represented in the form of a stream of energy, passing through a certain ring, from where it is converted into what we know as a Technique. An eg. is the a Cero, is basically Reitsu fired in a compressed beam, in order to focus its damage. But to be fired, it requires the user to convert his or her Reitsu from its unrefined state of simply existing and passing it out to the environment in a given form. Same for a Kido or a technique. The Zanpakuto posses the ability to control/manipulate this flow to a certain limit, being able to redirect, absorb, stop and even reflect this flow to its users will. The flow is represented by the two wheels on the hilt. The wheels are symbolic of the Zanpakuto spirit, and move in a direction, determined by what action is being performed. For eg. if the energy is being pushed away, it spins in the forward direction. If the energy is being absorbed, it spins in the backwards direction. If the energy is being stopped cold, it doesn't spin, but the core lights up. The ability to manipulate this flow is quite exhausting, and the stronger the flow, the greater the exhaustion felt by the user. The Shikai is more or less related to Reitsu, though it is possible to negate even elemental attacks, but limits the kind of attacks that can be absorbed.
The kind of attack that can be deflect, depends upon the power, and the type. For eg, if someone fires multiple bala's at him, he can easily deflect them, but if it was a Cero, it would be kinda harder to deflect. He can handle Bala's till the Quinta, but he cannot deflect an Espada's Cero, though he can deflect a normal arrancars Cero. But the stonger the attack the he deflects, the greater the Reitsu used. He can use this to weaken the attacks, he might not be able to stop.

Techniques:
Joukou :- Currently, the main attack Technique, this technique utilizes the ability to create an outward/pushing flow in order to push his own Reitsu in the form of an attack of concentrated and compressed Reitsu, similar to Urahara Kisuke's Red attack that he used to Counter Yammi's Cero. This technique can be molded in order to create a different kind of attack as well. Basically, the most common use is in the form described just now. It can also be used in different methods, like a Cero, in the form of a beam, or even a Bala, to increase the speed at the cost of Attack Power.
CD: 0 [Since this is the main attack technique]
Karyuu :- This technique utilizes a flow opposite to the Joukou in order to absorb a pure Reitsu based Technique, or to simply absorb Reishi from the environment, to recharge, and to heal himself to a certain extent. It can also be used as a power up, to follow it with an even stronger Joukou. While he can absorb Reitsu from the surroundings even without this technique, it is useful, when he is to weak to absorb it without using the technique itself. It allows him to absorb a LOT more reitsu. It cannot absorb Elemental Attacks, but it can absorb Pure Reitsu based ones. It can absorb even an elemental attack, if it is stopped after Kyouseichuudan.

CD: 2 Posts
Kyouseichuudan :- This is the main utilization of his Zanpakuto, to stop a technique cold in its tracks, by breaking the flow at one end. While this does not accomplish much, as anything more than a defense, what it can do, is that if the attack, is like a Cero, or a Gran Rey Cero, or a Kido that requires a constant flow like Byakurai, or even a technique, like Hitsugaya's Shikai Technique, he can cause the flow at one end to stop, literally backing up the technique. This will result in the Reitsu which is being put in the Attack, to back up at the point where the technique is used, causing it to backfire on the user. Projectile based attacks won't back up, but can be stopped, and then absorbed using Karyuu, irrelevant of the fact whether they are Elemental or not. When Karyuu is used after this technique, it ignores the cooldown, but at the cost of having it doubled afterwords. So if the amount of time left for it to be usable again, as 1 post, now Agito has to wait 2. If it was 2, then it is now 4. The turn it is used, all techniques, whether from an ally or a foe will be stopped. Buff type technique will not be affected. This can stop any and all techniques without exception.
Cooldown: 4 Posts.
