Shikai:
The blade is only about four feet long, the handle being six or seven inches in length. The handle is made of pure gold, having cross etchings wherever there is a skull in the picture. The tip of the blade is broken off, symbolizing that the weapon was not designed for battle.

Shikai Ability: Kidate's shikai takes two effects. The first is that anyone within twelve meters of him gains a boost in reiatsu and kidou ability. This means that they will be able to use more kidou, longer, and with more efficiency. The second ability lies in its healing properties. Anyone cut with the blade is healed of all small wounds and some major ones. This ability requires a cool down of 6 posts.

Name: Inshou no Rikou - Seal of Wisdom
Effect: Inshou no Rikou is a touch-based technique that is only able to be activated in shikai or bankai form. When Kugo touches the forehead of the target, a kanji symbol for wisdom will appear in baby blue. (知力) For the duration the technique, the target gains a major boost in kidou capabilities. They will be able to travel beyond the twelve meter radius of Kugo while still maintaining this bonus.

Name: Inshou no Bachi - Seal of Retribution
Effect: Inshou no Bachi is the only technique that allows Kugo to harm his opponent without the use of Kidou. In order to activate the seal they must either touch the opponent or cut them with his blade. The kanji symbol for pain(痛み) will appear where they were touched or cut glowing red. For the duration of the seal, a massive pain will spread throughout the opponents body.
Duration and or Cooldown: Duration 6 posts, CD 6 posts.

Name: Inshou no Aigo - Seal of Protection
Effect: Inshou no Aigo is a defensive technique only usable in shikai or bankai mode. This technique allows Kugo to tap himself on the chest. The kanji symbol for protection(保護) will appear in baby blue on his chest. The next attack to hit Kugo will be voided.
