Personality: He doesn't stress about most things. If he sees something he doesn't like he will most likely turn his head or have a disgusted look upon his face. He doesn't really take thing serious and thinks of most things as a joke. The only time he will take something serious is if a fight becomes serious. He is seen smiling most of the time. He never says anything before a fight, but he will most likely say something while fighting or after fighting.

Division: Whichever Division is open for a Captain.

History:
Human Life Arc: He worked at a computer factory creating computers. They were top of the line computers. He made computers better than any of the other workers there. Right before the day he was supposed to get a promotion Howaido and the other people at the job site were fired and replaced with machines. He thought is was a little weird; machines creating machines. This pissed him off.

Howaido needed this job so that he could keep all of the things he had. All he really knew how do was the job that he was doing, so it was hard to find himself a new job. He had went around for a month without a job, so his car and his house were taken away from him. This disturbed him and drove him into madness. He was still smart but he didn't know what to do.

Then one day, it was a cold and rainy day, Howaido was walking on a bridge that he was in his city. He hadn't changed much but he didn't know what to do. He stood upon the bridge and looked over the railing. He stood there looking in the water. All of a sudden he felt a push come upon him sending him flying into the river; before he fell he looked up to the bridge and saw a giant, monster-like figure standing over the bridge. The rush of the river was so strong that it overwhelmed Howaido. He died from that.

Plus Arc: Now he was dead. Howaido wanted to find who killed him though. The only problem was that he didn't know where to start looking. He had to start searching soon. He didn't know the type of danger that he was now in.

Before he started searching for whoever or whatever pushed him into the river he woke up on the side of the river. He was laying there. He now had the desire, or endeavor, to find this thing. He started by looking all over his city. He looked everywhere. He then looked in the next cities and towns nearby. What he didn't know was that his Chain of Fate was slowly shortening.

He had been searching for about a year for this thing that had put him to his death. The soul of Howaido had ended up coming back to the bridge where he died. He was upset that he couldn't find the thing that did this to him, then he felt an immense pressure lift upon him; that pressure was the spiritual pressure of the "thing that killed him". The pressure of the thing that killed him had caused an increase of his own spiritual pressure. He later found out that this was a hollow.

The hollow had chased the Soul of Howaido all over the city until it cornered him. The hollow was preparing itself to eat Howaido and he didn't know what to do. The Hollow moved closer and closer to the Soul with a creepy smile upon its face. Its long tongue had licked its entire face. The Hollow had opened its mouth to eat Howaido and then its face just slid off in half. Howaido looked around to find a person holding a sword and wore a white coat standing in front of him.

The Shinigami walked towards him and told him that he was interested in his Spiritual Pressure. He had to explain to Howaido Spiritual Pressure and all types of Shinigami things. Howaido caught on quick, so the Shinigami told him to come with him and become a Shinigami. Howaido agreed to doing it and went with him.

Soul Society Arc: Once they arrived to the Soul Society he was immediately put into the Shinou Academy. He learned the basics in the Academy. He eventually took on teaching himself a new fighting style that his teacher didn't tell him. He ended up mastering in that and in Zanjutsu. He was at the top of his class.

He was then suggested in a tournament that was in the Academy. Which surprised him. He would've thought that because of his scores on the bookwork, which were mediocre, he wouldn't be put into something like that. He was glad that he was though. He was anxious to be in this tournament. Howaido wanted to show off his skills.

The tournament would happen in a few months, so after his years of being there it still took him a while just to master the name of his zanpakutou. About ten days after learning the name of his Zanpakutou he now had to master the few Kido Spells that he knew. He thought of this as a hassle. Luckily it didn't take him very long, and he had gotten done with mastering the Kidos.

Howaido believed that he was now ready for this tournament. He walked over to his teacher and he told him that it was all just a lie. Howaido was now pissed. The teacher said it was just a way to see what some of the Academy students were capable and see who would become a Shinigami. The teacher told him that they had chosen Howaido to become a Shinigami. Howaido was happy and now he stayed in the Soul Society as a Shinigami.

Sample Chapter: Howaido Naito was walking through the city of Karakura Town with a few of his men. They were there just to make sure that everything was normal in this area, and normal meant that there were no other powerful spiritual pressures here. Hopefully they would be able to sense this easily. Then again there were those type of people that liked to surpress their Reiatsu until the last moment and then finally reveal it. If it weren't one of those people then the Captain of the 8th Division would be able to react immediately.

The members of the 8th Division were spread out through the city in squads of two. Each one of them had a comunications device around their necks so they all could keep in contact with each other just in case something had happened, so that the others could get to them fast. The Eight Division had tested these out before they came here so they wouldn't be walking into a mission with fualty gear. After their quick test they had took the communications devices with them on the mission.

Back to the Shinigami... They had been out there for hours without finding anything. Then unusual spiritual pressure had spiked up all over the town. As a matter of fact the spiritual pressure had appeared all near his other shinigami. As the Captain tried to get in contact with the other Shinigami half of them answered. He then noticed that half of his Division's spiritual pressure had died off and half of the unusual spiritual pressure that had came up had died off as well. Howaido then felt the Reiatsu of something come near him and his Lieutenant. He told his right hand man to be careful. Then a man holding a dual bladed scythe had showed up in front of him saying, "So this was the spiritual pressure I felt over here." The man then shook his head in disappointment. "What a shame." Howaido had figured out that this was an Arrancar, possibly an Espada. Things were going to get dangerous now.

The Captain of the Eight Division's Lieutenant didn't care who he was, he was just mad that the man insulted his Captian. He charged at the Arrancar up in the air and Howaido yelled, "No! He's stronger than you!" The man had disregarded what Howaido said and continued attacking. The Lieutenant went for a downward slash and had missed terribly. He ended up cutting through nothing. The Arrancar had appeared behind the Second in Charge of the Eight Division, probably using a Sonido or maybe he was just that fast. He then said to the Lieutenant,

"I'm an Espada, boy. You're out of your league." A shocked look came upon the Lieutenant's face as the Espada had released his spiritual pressure, nearly crushing the man. The man could barely stand, and when he did the Espada had appeared in front of him with the front blade of his scythe up to the man's neck. The Lieutenant had looked hopeless and he could do nothing from where he was. The man with half of a mask on his face had brought his scythe back behind his head and was beginning to strike the Lieutenant of the Eight Division, then the Captain of the Eight Division, Howaido Naito, had appeared behind the Espada grabbing his scythe by the space between where the Espada was holding and where the two blades were. He then said to the Espada,

"Do you mind not harming my members? Or else I'll have to get involved." The Espada looked to the man holding the other end of his scythe and slid his hand down the handle. Once he got to the end he pulled out a short blade that concealed with in the scythe. The Espada went to stab the Lieutenant. Apparently he was stuck on killing the man. Howaido wasn't about to let any kind of harm come towards his own Lieutenant. He Shunpo'd, or Flash Stepped, in front of his Eight Division member, dropping the scythe where he was originally standing and pushed the short sword into the ground. Howaido then grabbed the mask of the Espada with his left hand and pulled him towards the Captain. Once the Espada was in range of the Captain's attack he hit the Espada with not his fist, but his right elbow. Right before hitting the man in the face he let go of the Espada's mask. The Captain had picked up his Lieutenant and begun walking in the opposite direction. Then he had heard things moving in behind him. He turned his head to see the Espada standing up and somehow he had his scythe back into his hands. Howaido had took the Lieutenant and sat him down resting upon a building. He walked over to the Espada, about ten meters away from him. The Espada had exorted a lot of his spiritual pressure and was beginning to speak until another Arrancar had dropped out of the sky next to the Espada. The Arrancar then said,

"Sir we need to get back to Hueco Mundo. Apparently there's something going on there." The Espada nodded in disappointment. He wanted to finish this fight here, but instead he said to Captain,

"Since I don't know your name, you will be known as the 'Nameless Captain'. The next time I see you things will be different, and I will kill you." After the Espada said that he and the Arrancar had disappeared. Howaido turned away from where the Espada was standing and went over to his Second Hand Man. He told him to get up, and the man did. After he got up he then spoke into the microphone on the communication device around his neck and said,

"All 8th Division Shinigami report back to where we came here from. Also, bring the bodies of your fallen brothers." Only after a few minutes of that being said the members of his Division had appeared left and right from where they had entered from. Now that they were all there the Captain was able to open a portal of somesort and they all walked through it calmly. They were mad, but at the same time glad; this was because they had lost members of their Division, but they were able to complete their mission partially.

Niiro, unfortunately, I am not sure if the 8th division is open for grabs, we currently have around 13 captains, I think, including the kido corps, so there is only one spot open, I think. Not sure, ask polk.

LOL, sorry mr. polk, I didn't know who were the captains, but some of the captain's were from way back before he revamp, I must've mixed up 8th division with 7th, sorry.
