Personality: The young reaper reacts to everything heartlessly, he sealed up his emotions and opened up to someone once in awhile. His personality changed greatly when he became a captain. As a lieutenant he was already strict, but when he became the captain of the 5th division, he was fearless, did everything for his division. He fought off enemies of his division members. The young reaper is like that. He cares for his teammates and protects them. He grew weary sometimes, but he stuck by.

History: The young reaper was born somewhere in the beaches of miami. His earliest memory was when he was crying, lying on sand while the waves washed up next to him. He had been abandoned as soon as he was born. It was unfortunate for him, it led to a harsh life, though he didn't go to school cause frankly he didn't have enough money to get a proper meal even, but he was quite smart. Not the average smart, but the computer genius smart. He wrote books as a kid to get by, his grammar perfect for he learned from reading books. The books were crappy, but he was drawn to a book once. It was called "Fire cracker" it seemed like a nice book, he read it when he was around four or five. Toshiro was interested in books and was quite smart. He ran through libraries, searching for books, more knowledge. The man was a knowledge seeker.
-High School Years-
Toshiro was able to make a living by writing books and was able to pay for his tuition in a high school. He was at the top of the class. The knowledge he gained when he was young wasn't put to waste. He was walking back from a late night of school. He was headed towards his apartment. Then a beam of light appeared, he then saw a flash of light. His life ended..... He had been hit and killed by a car.
Shinigami days
The young reaper joined the shinigami when he was overwhelmed by a bit of reiatsu and they normally do that to check who would become a potential shinigami. He this time was a bit lazy, not a knowledge seeker anymore, he was average in kido. Frankly, he was average in all his subjects. He always walked around reading Fire Cracker in his hand. Over and Over again he read it. Fire cracker was the last book her read before he died.
He quickly passed the academy with flying colors. He was put on the 12th division because of his intelligence. He felt a bit weird though, he already was a fifth seat. His intellect was above average, but he wasn't happy there. He felt saddened somehow. He requested to be transfered to the 5th division. The recommendation of his former captain got him the fifth seat there too. They faced dangers daily, fighting hollows that were mysteriously able to enter the Soul Society. He was made lieutenant soon enough with his bankai he rose to the lieutenant spot. The shinigami challenged his own captain for his spot. The battle lasted for more than five hours somewhere in the Sereitei. Until.... Toshiro was victorious.
Days as a Captain
Toshiro was now the captain of the 5th division and he was hated by the division members. All of them despised him for he killed there beloved captain. He thought long and hard about this.. They then went on a mission to fight some rebels in the Rukongai. All of his seated officers was with him, around thirteen of them, but they were outnumbered by ten. His teammates were about to perish, but he saved his teammates by using his bankai. That gained his teammates trust.
Hundred Years Later
Toshiro was sent a new shinigami that was highly recommended by the captain commander and that he should become his vice captain. The young shinigami examined the new recruit, his name was Hunter. They shared an interest for the book fire cracker and had the nickname DK. He then imagined Hunter as the next captain if Toshiro should perish... Captain DK of the 5th division... He thought about this.. Then he went on a mission. DK was not gifted enough to be the next captain, but he did know someone as strong as him who was fifth seat, he was fifth seat because he wanted to work his way up one by one. If something were to happen, he would take over for he had bankai. The mission was to go to Hueco mundo, but he was captured by the Espada Scientist. The espada scientist tested the Hollowfication process on Hunter. He struggled, but he couldn't fight back. He was sent back to the soul society unconscious. When he woke up he thought he should inform the captain commander about this, but he was now a vizard, they will execute him. He had no place to go. He could only go the the realm of the living.
