Investigating (Kyrie's part of the mission)

Kyrie smiled as she sprinted out of the gates. She was excited that mission had finally started and that she would finally be able to get some action. As she ran increasingly getting faster she only looked forward. When she was told that she would be investing in the Rukongai district she was at first a little disturbed, but was now excited to return to where it all started. She was even pretty sure who to go to find a missing person. Her former gang they knew of almost everything that accrued in the rukongai districts, if they weren't apart of it themselves. If it involved shinigami in any way they were sure to know something.

As she neared the building her pace increased not even looking back to see if the others were following. As she entered the area people looked at her with anger and fear. Yes im home. As she neared the large building guards drew their swords. Kyrie only laughed at this as with just a simple touch both were blown away. As another guard cowered in fear. She just stooped and looked at him. I want to see the leader. The guard ran in the building several moments later a man she once knew came out as he escorted her in. He led her deep inside the building. Into the very room where she fought in so many years ago. As she entered the room she saw him again. Oh hello again its been a while hasn't it. I thought I would come by and pay you a visit. The old man looked at her with anger. What do you want you Shinigami scum.

Kyrie only continued to smile as she stared back at the old man. What cant an old friend just come by and say hi why do I have to want somthing. To tell you the truth I am looking for some missing shinigami and I figured you would probably know. The old man continued to stare at her with great anger. I would never help a shinigami scum let alone a traitor. Men kill her. Men surrounded her and attacked her from every direction. Kyrie only only held out one hand. Then in an instant she dissapeared. Her movements impossible to track. As she appeared back in front of the old man, everyone of the armed men fell not one cut on any of their bodies. Im different now. So would you like to change your answer. She held her blade at his neck.

Yasuo trailed behind his Captain. He observed her showy display of combat. She was fast on her feet and good with her hands. She was capable of taking care of herself after all. But that didn't matter. These 'scums' she fought weren't that skilled in combat. A Lieutenant like himself could taken them on. Given, it wouldn't be as fast as the Captain Commander. A grin remained plastered on his face as he stood before the door, guarding it with his Zanpakutou unsheathed. If the Captain Commander needed his help, he would be in there. But it was obvious, that she did not. At the moment that was.

Ryudou shunpoed on in using a speed slower then usual, despite the fact that it was not his maximum his hair was all messed up, since Ryudou only used water and a comb to do his hair, throughout the day it became progressingly messier and messier until even a low ranked officer would comment on it, to which Ryudou would reply I know I know, it does that.

Anyway as Ryudou arrived on the scene he saw the Captain Commander, Kung Fu fighting her fists were fast as lightning, however since he was a Captain and his Bankai dealt with speed he could see the moves and though not react in his sealed state he could still see and follow them somewhat.

Eyeing the liuetenant who hang back who had decided didn;t need his help at the moment, he noticed that he had a grin on his face, the grin that comes with the confidence of one's power Ryudou couldn;t help but grin as well seeing as Ryudou came to smile very easily. Then eyeing the one girl whose name he still did not know she stood next to the liuetenant and he even noticed the blush on her face, which made Ryudou angry at liuetenant and angry at himself for not doing something about it, and then another emotion came to his head Dude to notice that blush I must be some kind of stalker, eww. Ryudou decided to do something as that other Captain here so he walked over to bruised and battered bodies and went in address them all, as well as take a page from Yasou's book We are on a mission from the Soul Society, and if you lie or even withold information from us, we will consider it treason and will have all of you arrested and even executed, or seeing as it was self-defence we can have her gut you all now and noone will even mourn for you, This very serious tone Ryudou ha taken was a reaction to Suman telling him to be more Captain like. Captain Commander Kyrie emphasizing her title to shock and alarm the briggens, Continue.

Kyrie and her crew were intimidating the old men in the room when a pair of big, shiny black eyes loomed out of nowhere, right in front of Kyrie. They was soon accompanied by a nose and mouth and a shock of long purple-ish hair.

There was the tinkling of bells in the air as a girl with purple hair stared fixedly on Kyrie, a look of curiosity in the air. Then, she gormlessly looked left and right, looking strangely like Wonderwiss, the manipulated arrancar from decades ago. Only she was accompanied by the stupid noises. She just stared with a frown on her face.

Then she laughed, hopping off the old man's table. The old man himself looked rather shocked to see a beautiful woman appear from nowhere. Her pumps and purple Kimono made an off-kilter look of a regular rukon -district member. What's more, she exerted a spiritual pressure far beyond that of a rukon.

"You guys are funny...are you looking for someone?" The girl asked, her voice a deep tone, one that had the texture of cream or Baily's. Safe to say, her figure clearly said she was not at all nervous. In fact, she was rather funny; shaking hands with them all in an excited fashion. "I'm Negami Kisune, pleased to meet you!" Negami introduced, then hopped out of the room, laughing.

She was using shunpo and appearing all over the place. One had to admire how fast she moved.

"Come and get me~!" Negami teased, using Shunpo and running towards the tower in the centre of the district. She was giggling and rolling around like an extremely giggly ball, her zanpakto shining at her wrist. She'd looped it so that it didn't interfere in her game.

Kyrie only smiled as she held the blade to the old mans neck. She had wanted to this such a long time ago. And if she was still that person his head would have already been off but that isn't the best way. Ill never tell you anything you stupid bitch He looked at her as she tried to spit at her. With a quick movement she dodged as picked him up with ease. The as Ryudoua spoke Captain Commander the old mans face let up. Yes I am. So you going to speak or are we going to have to do this the hard way. Just as she said this she heard a jingling of bells as she quickly dropped the old man.

She was very stunned that she hadn't felt the spiritual pressure tell now. That only her ears could detect this shinigami. Well I guess that's the advantage of having these ears. Kyrie stared at the strange but rather attractive girl. She was obviously a shinigami or vaizard by her spiritual pressure and zanpactou. Yet there was something about this girl that Kyrie really liked. As the girl announced her name Kyrie was instantly interested. She didn't expect to find one so soon. As the girl took off Kyrie only smiled. Good I wanted a challenge. Come on Emiko, Yashou, Ryudou we have found one..

In an instant she put away her zanpactou as she chased after the girl. Dashing out side of the room. She ran much faster then she did before. Her speed rivaled that of the shinigami without her shunpoing. Her sleeves dragged in the wind as she ran after her a smile on her face the entire time. Her zanpactou tied tightly against her waist only moving with her hips. Her eyes almost closed as she only listened for the sounds of the bells. I hope you make this fun

Had standing beside Emiko caused Yasuo to be uneasy? No, not quite. But had it made her uneasy? Yes, it had. Why he was sure of it? Well, it was simple. The sudden reddening of her face was visible. The reason for this, he wasn’t quite sure of. Could it have been the light kiss on the cheek? Or perhaps, it was the winking. He couldn’t quite tell. The females were always difficult to figure out. He chuckled, his focus on Emiko. He would begin to speak before being interrupted.

What was his name again? Ryudou was it? He was the one who had complimented on the appearance of the Captain Commander and Emiko. He had gone all love-struck on them both. A player, he truly was. Yasuo returned the Captain’s glance. Yasuo noticed the change of facial expression when the Captain glanced at Emiko. Was there a sort of ‘friction’ in the atmosphere? There probably was. And Yasuo knew the reason why. This was quite amusing.

He chuckled at the Captain’s remark to the injured men lying on the ground. Yasuo spoke:

“Captain Ryudou, do not bother yourself attempting to get information out of them. They will not inform you, no matter how you treat them. We are in district 80 after all, a hardscrabble, violent, crime-infested area. Everywhere you look, there is a form of organize crime,” in a calm tone.

He would then revert his focus to Emiko and continued to speak:

“Emiko-chan, I thank you for the back-up back there. I would have handled the situation in a different matter, if you hadn’t stepped in. Hope you didn’t mind my act of ... gratitude?” he spoke in his casual soft-spoken voice. He would then wait for her to respond. A second later after he spoke, the door flung open, a girl emerging forth. She used the Shunpo technique, leaving behind afterimages as she headed out the room. Before he had the time to summarize the events that had occurred, the voice of his Captain Commander commanded he and the two others follow her. Apparently, the female who left in a rush was part of the mission he was on. He sheathed his Zanpakutou and chased after his Captain.

Ryudou watched as the old leader who had tried to spit on the Captain Commander had a momentary moment of shock on Kyrie's title, which made Ryudou smile a bit, and after the head liutenant Yasou told him not matter what he said they would not talk RYudou then quickly replied It would seem that way from first-glance, but I know these people, well not these one's exactly but thier kind Ryudou said hearkening back to his days in the Rukongai, They all claim to be brothers and have an bond that they would never break, but look at them all, all greedy, desperate people trying to get to the top, and you can't do that if your dead now can you, no these guys would try to live even if it meant squaling on thier brothers. Ryudou did not speak as a shinigami from the 4th Division, but as plus from the 54th District of the Rukongai.

Then seeing the girl, RYudou was all butterfiles about and hearing that her name was Emiko, Ryudou was happy Emiko, Emiko Ryudou thought it out trying not to forget it. However seeing her thank Yasou for his "act of gratitude" made Ryudou lose all of that happiness and become somber, even the untrained eye could see it, Well that was unexpected.

However almost immidiatly a beatiful girl came in and was acting all cute and silly, normally this would have piqued RYudou's interest but he was to down in the dumps to actually act interested and only gave interest when she said her name was one of the shinigami they were looking for, she then began shunpoing around like it was an ordinary game they could play, Ryudou went to follow, kind of suprised at himself that his mind wasn't on the mission but on his somber attitude. He then chased Negami have heartingly and that caused his shunpo and reaction time to lax.

Oh, the captain-commander was coming with her? And the other shinigami? Awesome! More to play with in her little game. Some of her friends would look after them when she got to the tower. But first, she had to get past the huge wall in her way.

Without even slowing, she threw up her hand at the wall.

"Hado No. 31, Red Flame Cannon!" She giggled, blowing a hole in the wall with her Kido. That was barely a sample of how powerful her Kido was. However, that sufficed to blow a hole in the wall. And that really was all that mattered. She was under the tower now. Wait, under?

She fell through a hole and landed ass-up on the floor, a few feet bellow. She'd rolled down a slope into the dark parts of the tower. She rubbed her head and looked around for a second, trying to see where she was. It was too dark...suffocatingly dark.

She screamed and covered her head in her hands, shivering from fear. She couldn't even create a light with Kido; it was too scary for her to even talk let alone recite an incantation.

Something grunted in the dark and Negami pulled a dagger from her thigh-holster. With a very finesse move, she flicked her wrist and the dagger became a shurikan.

From out of the darkness, a pair of red eyes loomed, followed by the vestiges of a mask. A hollowfied shinigami? No, it was a full-blown vizard. Only this one had failed to control his inner hollow. And now he was coming to eat Negami.

Blindly, she threw the shurikan and ran back the way she'd come, tears of fear streaming from her eyes. Suddenly, there was another hollow at the rim of the hole. But Negami knew this one; it was Kenny.

"Kenny, help me! There's a monster down there!" Negami screamed, leaping from her hole and using Shunpo to get higher. Soon she was ten feet off the ground. She noted this rather quickly and gathered reishi under her feet, so she could stand in the air. The tower went up a couple hundred more feet so Negami thought it better to blow a hole in the tower and work her way up.

She used Hado and rolled into the tower, breathing nervously and clutching her chest. It was then she wondered where her new friends had got to. She had an idea; she'd make some music to lure them here! Oh wait 'lure' was the wrong word...

"OK boys! Make some music!" Negami smiled, opening the trap door of the top floor a few minutes later. A group of Shinigami, about five of them, looked at her before turning back to their bells and making sounds with them. Negami lay back and closed her eyes, waiting for her new friends to arrive.

Kyrie continued to smile as she followed the Shinigami. The speed of the young girl was quite impressive. If all of these shinigami were this strong then this mission would be quite interesting. She had no fear as she followed the girl. She was well prepared to protect herself and her squad. She didn't have any doubt about her abilities. In fact she was only worried about getting bored.

Kyrie continued to follow the Shinigami only a little behind. She pondered the abilities of the young girl watching her movements closely. As she used kido and blew away a wall and disappeared. She was impressed how smoothly and easily the girl moved. Kyrie stopped at the wall and listened closely. She noticed Ryudou moving slower then he should. Ryudou if you do anything to jeperdize any one of the members on this mission I will kill you myself get over yourself. Only a very light sound of bells could be heard and a word or two. Then suddenly a large amount of music arose. As Kyrie looked up she smiled. Finally shunpoing she instantly arrived in the middle of the tower in front of the girl cutting through the wall. Are we going to continue this?

Yasuo arrived in the building. He examined it. He followed Kyrie, watching her chase the girl. He then unsheathed his Zanpakutou, but with his left hand. He stood beside her, his right palm being engulfed by blue light. His lips moved, mumbling to himself rapidly: "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws!" With this said, he ran towards the female, in a zig-zag pattern. The blue energy swirling around his right palm.

Negami stood still as Kyrie entered the tower. She smiled warmly as the captain-commander asked her whether the game was to continue. She fiddled with the bow on her back for a few seconds before letting her hair out of its cap she'd used to disguise herself. The bells at the end of her ponytails jingled as the ropes of hair dropped to the bottom of her back. She bowed respectfully to Kyrie before putting her finger to her lips, considering her answer.

"I suppose so. The game was fun." Negami answered carefully waving her hand and stopping the music. Negami's stance was relaxed, that much was obvious. However, any shinigami worth his salt would notice that her whole body was tensed up.

And then the peanut gallery arrived in the form of a lieutenant trying to use Kido on her. She yelped just as all five of her friends leapt in front of her, crossing their swords to make a formidable wall of steel in the way.

Negami leapt over this and sidestepped so quickly that it appeared to be one motion. He sword was already out of its sheath and glittering menacingly.

"Sword down lieutenant. The reason I left the Gotei was because of primitive idiots like you who can't even read the mission correctly. Are you trying to get demoted by the way? You're going the right way about it." Negami scolded the young lieutenant she may not have been a captain but as a former lieutenant, she had every right to tell him exactly why he was unworthy of office. And Negami, taking every opportunity to be slightly sexist, was a bit cross that Yasuo would feel the need to kill the person he was meant to be saving.

Suddenly, the tower shook with a domineering shock wave of reiatsu. Negami sidestepped quite easily but still had a look of surprise on her face. She looked around to see most of her friends had the same look as well. Then Negami's eyes slid to the window and what she saw amazed her.

It was a huge metal dragon, surrounded by minuscule dots of black that she presumed were shinigami. Suddenly, the dragon's tail whipped up and sent one of the dots flying towards the tower. Negami arrested its halt with Kido before looking astounded at the hollowfied shinigami.

Then another shinigami appeared before them, speared the vizard with his sword and nodded to Kyrie. Negami blinked rapidly before Suman used shunpo to slice another vizard in half, one that was attempting a strike on one of Negami's friends.

"You destroyed my tower you bastard!" Negami roared as the roof got blown off by a Kido of Suman's. He looked at Negami before shaking his head at her. Negami growled and released her sword to shikai. It rang with the various tones of a melody as the invisible half of the blade sliced Suman's haori. "Look at me when I'm talking to you, Bastard!" Negami roared. Suman did look at Negami, his eyes hard as diamonds Negami suddenly became timid when Suman's eyes showed how angry he was.

"Sorry..." Negami muttered, shrinking to an inch tall, a black shade descending on her head. Wordlessly, Suman picked her up around the middle and began walking to the rim of the tower. "Hey wait a minute I never said you could touch me you pervert! Get off me before I slice you apart you perverted pervy bastard! I'll hurt you so much if you do anything bad to me!!" Negami screamed quickly, as though it was all one word. She wriggled and struggled, kicking her legs, her bells ringing as her ponytails swung wildly.

"Captain-Commander, I would not wish to delegate such menial tasks to you but I believe she'd be more comfortable with a female." Suman commented, his intuition telling him something very interesting about Negami and her aversion to men. "My apologies Miss. Kisune. I shall put you down presently." Suman's voice had changed to a courteous and polite tone as he lay Negami down near Kyrie. Negami blushed a deep red as she looked around. She was being treated like a child in front of her friends.

But Suman was already gone, killing another Vizard as it was chomped in half by Oeryu Kuraisora. The Maggot's Nest had clearly been incapable of sustaining their fight. So, rather than let the convicts escape, Suman ran from the premises, the vizard following. Then he must have released his bankai and demolished the vizards. He was still doing that last part. But he was riddled with cuts and bruises, his shirt torn to rags around his waist and his haori lying about his shoulders. He was obviously having trouble beating ten vizards at once.

Ryudou slipped out of his stupor when his Captain threatened him with his life and told him to put the mission first, alright all other thoughts will have to be ignored, at least for now, Anyway, Negumi continued running away from them until a Vaizard showed up and tried to attack her, escaping it she ran into a giant castle after blasting a wall with kido, in which Captain Commander Kyrie breathlesssly followed her and demanded if this little game was over, As Yasou charged up a Hado 33.

Negami replied with a relaxed stance that could easily be seen was a ruse, that she supposed the game was over and was fun while it lasted. She then ridiculed Yasou for attempting to attack her, it was funny seeing this silly girl do that. Then out of the distance a huge shock of reaitsu was felt through the air that immidiatly made Ryudou look in its direction, where to his shcok hrr saw a huge metal dragon that carried what appeared to be shinigami but at closer glance and with a Vaizard that had already appeared, he could see that they were Vaizard. One tried to attack Emiko but she restrained it with kido and it was killed by one of Negami' allies.

Another one appeared to strike one of Negami' allies and out of nowhere Suan appeared and sliced it in half, this made Ryudou happy, seeing as Suman was his favorite Captain but this was not the time for joy but a time for battle. However this was proven false as Negami released her zanpaktou and slashed Suman's back which had little effect besides making him angry, he then picked her up and she had a fit of anger and called Suman a pervert which made Ryudou grin a little, however Negami;s complete lack of disipline was evident and it also made Ryudou a little angry. Suman then handed her off to Kyrie and began to take the Vaizards on, so Ryudou began to follow suit.

He appeared by Suman's side and was immidiatly was feced by a Vaizard who swung his sword at him, Ryudou promptly unsheathed his sword and dodged one the strikes and parried another, feeling the Vaizard;s immense strength and vaugely reembering his holloification and what it put Suman through to be able to stall him enough for Alec to end it, and instead of dodging another slice Ryudou side stepped andswifly sliced off one of the Vaizards legs, which promply caused it to hopple for a second, as it did so Ryudou took the oppurtunity to slice off its sword arm disabling it, watching it fall to the floor Ryudou threw an anistesia pill at its mouth which was promptly swallowed by the Vaizardm seeing as it was probably going to die anyway, the pain would leave him as well as it would clot his wounds allowing him too live for questioning. As Ryudou dropped the pill, another Vaizard swifly came from behind and attempted to stab him, Ryudou barely noticed and barely managed to side step it with a little blood loss as a thin cut was made in his side that caused him to wince, Ryudou then accurately amed his sword so that it cut the vaizard's mask of vertically, which astounded it, Ryudou then grabbed the pommel of his sword and rapidly smashed it over the vaizard;s head knocking it out, Ryudou dashed and grabbed its zanpaktou and throw it as far as he could which was like half a mile, Ryudou was warming up he was getting into the fight.

"Enough! Ryukurai, return to Shikai!" Suman growled. The black steel dragon bowed its head, turning into black fog and collating into his shikai. The air still hung with the cloying poison of Suman's Bankai.

Negami looked at the man, seeing the two swords glistening in the faint sunlight. Negami had to admire his eyes: full of killing intent, without an inch for mercy spared. She knew that with eyes like that, he was more than competent. In fact, she was sure he'd kill all these vizard within seconds.

Feeling saved, she got to her feet, staring at Ryudou and Suman as they disposed of the Vizard. Then Suman did something strange: he threw his shorter sword at one of the vizard. Strange...why throw a sword so askew? There was no aim in that throw, none at all.

Suddenly, the blade bounced off thin air, piercing the smirking vizard from behind. But Suman wasn't done yet: his sword changed again in direction. It bounced around until it formed...

"Oh..." Negami gasped, her lips parting in amazement. But that amazement didn't last long: she was too scared now. This man was scary, his detachment to killing almost made Negami scream. She buried her head in the shoulder of the captain commander, shaking slightly as Suman laughed cruelly.

"Black Widow Web, encase!!" He laughed, the chains heating up. Negami could feel the white-hot heat from where she was standing. Eventually, she had to close her eyes, the smell of burning flesh in the air. The rabid shinigami-hollows were no match for such a cruel and unusual technique.

"I don't want to go back...to the Gotei..." Negami shivered, her voice tiny and small. Suman looked over his shoulder, his face serious once more. For a second, that element of vicious triumph dominated his features. But it had smoothed over again as soon as his sword went back into Shikai.

~10mins later~

Negami was shivering in a corner, obviously shocked by such butchery. She was not used to killing: She'd been just out of the shinigami academy when she'd decided to go walkabout. Suman was looking at her gravely, wondering aloud whether it was wise to even bother bringing her back.

"Captain-Commander, I strongly recommend we leave her as she is. She's too frail to serve the Gotei effectively. Besides, it looks to me like she passed her exams by swinging her hips." Suman asserted coolly to the shinigami, while Negami's friends shushed her and took care of her tiny frame.

In retaliation to this statement, a low voice spoke out.

"Negami has seen her fair-share of killing. She wasn't scared of you, cretin, she was scared of what she saw in you. You remind her of herself. If you don't believe me, say what you just said to her face." One of her friends challenged, obviously listening in on the conversation. Her friend looked sternly into the eyes of Suman, her rock-hard look dominating his now soft friendly eyes.

Defiantly, Suman walked up to Negami, who was utterly dead-eyed. Suman was actually doing this to help her: she needed to get out of this self-pitying rut she'd dug herself into.

"Negami, I think you're too emotionally unstable to even consider serving in the Gotei." Suman spoke plainly, carefully. Negami's dead eyes turned to Suman for a second before they turned away, looking at her forearm. She looked utterly crestfallen and it made Suman feel a little sorry for her. He felt like giving her a hug, but that was the least on his list of things that would help. Negami was obviously the type that needed lust or anger to get provoked out of melancholy. Suman's face alighted with a big, mischievous.

"Ryudou, could you come here a second?" Suman asked, his eyes analysing the deadpan Negami. She was strange and mad. Not at all like he remembered her.

Kyrie smiled as she watched the two captains impressive show against the vaizards. She knew it was futile. These pathetic half breed's powers were nothing compared to the strength of a captain. Although the gotie 13 were not as strong as they used to be they were still above pathetic arrancar wanna bees. She was not needed in this mission, although it was a good time to analyze the powers of the other captains and more importantly view their personality. Kyrie slowly wrapped her arm around Nagumi as she looked down and smiled. It all going to be alright She watched as Suman's bankai slowly destroyed them one by one. Tell there were none left all left in a gory mess. Kyrie's face was calm showing almost no emotion.

She listened to what Suman said and as he yelled at the girl. She thought about it for a second then let the thought vanish from her head as she came to the girl in the corner shivering. She walked to her slowly her sleeves slowly flowing in the wind as she came closer to the girl in the corner. That is nonsense Suman she is coming with us. I see a lot of potential in her. Your performance was rather impressive but I would prefer you use some discrepancy next time, using bankai in the Rukangi is a catastrophe waiting to happen. Well anyways let us go. Her words were strong and held her authority. She stood in front of Nagumi and smiled as she open her arm.

Suman bottled his anger at being told off. He knew when to retrain himself. And the captain-commander was not someone you messed with easily. He needed some time to clear his head. If he didn't, he'd go insane.

And so, Suman nodded at the Captain-Commander and got to his feet. He looked about before opening a Senkei gate to go to Karakura town. He needed to kill some Hollows, take his mind of things. There was something strange about this Negami, even as she took Kyrie's hand tentatively. The bells on her ponytails rung. Everything about her infuriated Suman. She was so inept and clumsy and yet Kyrie was helping her. Such soft-heartedness was not something that he valued in a Captain Commander. Tutting, her went through the senkai gate.

Negami stood next to Kyrie, her hair falling in her face. She smiled at the young woman and giggled. Her melancholy still persisted, so the giggle was weak. But her flaming cheeks proved Suman's suspicions right.

"Oh right...I have no division." Negami asserted, her index fingering her bottom lip cautiously. She thought for a second before letting out an exasperated sigh and ruffling her hair irritatedly. "Argh! I can't remember!" She moaned, not bothered to think too hard. She had a foggy memory of a tall man with black hair and blue eyes being her captain. But maybe that was her imagination.

"Never mind, thank you for coming to rescue me." Negami smiled, her eyes going doughy as she stared at Kyrie, a small smile curling her lips as her hands clasped themselves before her. She was obviously and transparently flirting. But now was not the time; her zanpakto lay on the ground, extracting a slight scream from Negami's lips.

"Oh no! What have I done with you, poor thing!" Negami squealed, hugging her zanpakto like it was her first born child. Although it was not visible, the zanpakto's spirit was laughing slightly. "Let's go home Heidi. I'll give you a nice polish." Negami whispered, trotting down the steps of her tower. She looked back and smiled.

"What, were you expecting some big battle?" She giggled.
