Togire Yaiba v.s Rose

Togire Yaiba, lieutenant of the 11th division, had been sent to investigate strange activities in Karakura town by the Captain Commander. Apparently, there had been reports of an arrancar appearance in the area. Togire's job was to locate and eliminate this arrancar. What left Togire with a bad taste in his mouth, though, was how little information there was about this arrancar. No measure of it's power had been reported; for all Togire knew, it could be one of the ten Espada. Then, Togire felt it; the heavy presence in the air. It was nearby.

Togire drew his sword, smiling, "Arrancar, come and face me."

She appeared above him, looking down as he drew his zanpaktou. This would be fun. The Segunda Espada had been having fun in Karakura, until this little dipshit shinigami appeared. No doubt if she didnt kill him he would report to his higher ups, and cause a rukus and inconveinece for her. So she spoke clearly so that he could hear. Still not letting her massive reiatsu be felt by the shinigami lieutenant.

"Im right here, shinigami."

Togire turned his head to the source of the sound. It had come from the rooftop of the three story building across the street from where he currently stood. Smirking, he shunpoed into the air above his current position so that he was looking down on the blond arrancar. His eyes roamed over her, sizing her up. He was suspicious of her relaxed demeanor , but then his eyes found the number two tattooed onto her body. Togire raised his eyebrows in surprise but he made no move to flee or call for help. He merely grinned, "Well, I guess I'll have to use my full strength from the start. Live, Shoto."

As Togire's zanpaktuo elongated into an intricately decorated dai-katana, it began to give off a soft white glow. Hefting the weight of his sword in his right hand, Togire called down to Rose, "I am Togire Yaiba, lieutenant of the Eleventh Division. Do you have a name, Segunda Espada?"

She sneered, amused by the shinigami. "Rose." That was it. That was all she said. She wanted him to make the first move, likely he would not be able to cut her. She wanted to see what he would do otherwise. The wind blew and she stood there with her arms crossed, unmoving. She looked down at the humans below and grinned. It would be fun to see what they thought when buildings randomly exploded, and there was nothing to be seen as the cause.

"You know, in the time it took you to introduce yourself, I could have killed you?" She said still not really paying much attention to him. "It would have been easy, you shinigami beleive so much in your 'introductions'"

Togire merely smiled at her, his voice thick with mock sincerity, "I'm sure you could have."

He took the initiative, shunpoing straight at her, dai-katana brought back for a huge swing. As soon as he reached the edge of the building, however, he shunpoed down through an open window on the third floor of the building she was standing on, hiding himself from her view. As soon as he landed in the hallway of the building, Togire pointed his right index finger at the ceiling right below where she had just been standing on the roof, muttering, "Hado #33, Blue Fire, Crash Down!"

As the explosion ripped through where she had been standing, Togire quickly shunpoed back through the window he had just exited. The way he figured it, the moment he disappeared from her line of sight, she would have expected an attack from below. Most shinigami, however, would have attacked her straight through the floor themselves and it was likely that she expected this to happen. He shunpoed back up to the edge of the roof, eyes scanning the area for any trace of the segunda espada.

"Annoying." She said as she saw him go thorugh the building. Not bothering to dodge she had her hand pointed downwards where she could feel the rumbling of the kido begin. By the time Togire had fired his kido, she had fired a charged cero the two explosions negating each other and cause the builging to collapse on itself. As usual, this was yet another shinigami, who was overestimating his own abilities. Especially when fighitng an opponent that so far outclasses them. Togire was looking for her, however she was behind him having sonido while she had the cover of the smoke from the explosions, and said so, simply to make sure he would have amply time to counter. "Over here" As a purple cero was fired from 5 ft away at Togire.
