Personality: A very calm person, but can go medieval on someone in nothing flat. In battle he is very inquisitive, thinking before he makes his move. He enjoys practicing martial arts and meditation.

Appearance:

History/Background: Raised in America, he was very comfortable and had little worries. When he was 16, he began practicing martial arts. His master was a certified teacher, but he did not learn in a dojo. Instead he was taught at a local park. He wasn't very good at first, but decided to teach himself a different style than his master.

When he turned 19, he moved to Japan, and lived up in the mountains, in a small wooden house. He continued to practice.

Eventually at age 30, he moved back to the United States. There he would enter the military and decided to use his martial arts skill and ancient weapon mastery, including a custom made naginata that can cut through solid steel. In close combat he prefers bo staff.

He died at the age of 40 in combat. When he entered the Soul Society, he entered the Academy as combat instructor. He is was in the body of when he was 18. He became a member of squad 11 as he felt that no other squad could satisfy his nature.
