Zei, Forgotten shinigami.

Name: Zei, He either doesn't have a last name, Has forgotten it, Or has told noone.

Age: As unknown as his last name. For the benefit of the admins, He's about 850-900 years old.

Visual age: 19

Division: He was never a member of the gotei thirteen.

Appearance: He's about six feet tall, give or take an inch. His hair is silver, Though it's quite apparent it's not of age. It's impeccable straight, Falling over his eyes, But not thick enough to obscure them. His eyes are a bright blue shade, Comparable to a summer's afternoon sky. However, When he gets angry they have a habit of turning very dark, And they almost seem to roil like the sea, The color shifting within his eyes. What secrets lay behind them? None know, For he tells about as much as the sea. His chin is strong, But a bit more tapered then that of most men. One of his most distinguishing features besides his unusual eyes is a scar. Shaped like a very shallow crescent, It starts about three inches above the inside of his eye, And ends at his chin. It's a shallow lilac shade, marring his nearly porcelain skin. Think Dante from DMC3, Just with an awesome scar and whiter skin, Mmmk? He wears a trenchcoat similar to those from Orginzation 13 of KH2 (Yes i know i'm stealing alot of stuff from video games.)) Except the sleeves are slightly longer and more belled. Under his cloak is a somewhat suit of armor made from hollow masks/hollow mask shards. Two masks, Identical, Form small pauldrons, Small enough to not be noticed. He's also formed a pair of wrist guards, And his boots are reinforced with them, Making his kicks rather painful. A small spike is hidden in the sole of each of the boots. His knees have knee pads (Naturally).

Personality: Zei is an odd card. He'll usually shun contact as much as possible, And if forced into a conversation try to say as little ass possible. He opens up sometimes, Usually when he feels lonely, Or when he's drunk. (Which doesn't happen too often.) He's quite celibate, To the point where he doesn't even flirt and actually rejects girls who flirt with him, Possible because of a lost love from the past? He has a particular liking for german and italian (And i mean italian, Not that corrupt stuff they sell to you in america, But actual italian) cuisine. He has his emo moments, But he's usually destructive as opposed to self destructive. For those of you who are confused, He punches/kicks/headbuts/Etc you get the ideas stuff, instead of cutting himself. What this means is that his grief is thoughroughly intermixed with anger. He has a soft spot for women, Despite being celibate, And can be quite the gentleman at times.

Zanpakuto Influence: He is nearly constantly communicating with his zanpakuto, And has aquired quite a few traits thanks to this constant communion. He has fangs, Real life vampiric fangs, Instead of normal canines. He usually hides them though, Rarely opening his mouth wide enough to show them. He also has quite a lust for blood, But he usually satiates this by sucking on his Zanpakuto.

Background/History: Rawr. I can't really give a good history for this character, As i don't trust people to use OOC knowledge. . . So i'll give a recent events'er. He has lost his one and only true love, And at about the same time he gained his zanpakuto. He was forced to run from the person who killed his love, A bount. Because of this he has a rather deep seated hatred for bounts, Causing him to be extremely distrustful of them in general. He wandered around, eventually coming to heuco mundo, And he stayed there for a while. He killed quite a large amount of hollows, Before coming face to face with a menos. He was nearly killed in this fight, Before he released his shikai for the first time ever. He's had a natural adeptcy with his shikai form from the start for some reason, Able to use it effectivly without ever training. This helped him quite alot in beating the shit out of the menos' ass.

He spent a long time in heuco mundo, Training his shikai, And learning some rudimentary kidou. While his proficiency for the art is great, He's kinda alone so all his kidou are self made, And rather weak since he's had no training in this what-so-ever. Like if numbered they'd fall between 0 and 1. ((If particular part is not approved i'll just say he learned some kidou by accident or soemthing.. Though that seems preety cheapp to me.)) He's however greatly proficient with Shunpo and sensing spiritual pressure, These beings things that are alot easier to teach yourself. His Zanpacuto also kinda helped him attain his sense for spiritual pressure, Making it nearly unrivaled.

RP Sample:
He stares at his hand for a long time. His glove is lying on the forest floor somewhere, He'll have to figure out where he dropped it later. He stares at the small hole in his hand. He got careless and a hollow managed to impale his hand with a spike. He curses himself, Not bothering to be quiet as he yells, There's noone around to hear him for several miles. He uses a healing kidou he made himself, But it's rather weak, And so all it can do is accelrate the natural healing process. This will still take a couple days to heal, And it'll place a constant drain on his Reishi all the while. He curses himself again, And falls asleep against a tree.

He wakes up a little later, From a rather bad dream. What makes his dreams so bad is that they're not dreams, But they're accurate memories.. Like horror movies, Except he can't press pause. His hand whips up and embeds itself several inches into the tree, Fist clenched, Shards of bark forming a crater around his fist. He brings it back down and stares at the blood flowing from the side of his hand, His split knuckles, He can see his bones. He absorbs himself into the pain, forgetting his mental sorrows by focusing on the physical pain. He sighs and casts the same kidou as before, It works better this time, But it'll still be draining him for the rest of the day.

~Notes on his "Aura"~
His reiatsu is a blood red color, However this can be attributed to the fact that his zan is constantly releaseed, This blood red reiatsu is actually that of his zan. His reiatsu is actually pitch black, But this is extremely hard to notice, Because of the fact that is zan is constantly released.

I confused how you became a Shinigami? You state you never joined the Gotei, but your History does not elaborate...
