Name:Saikuro Mizhara
Age:24
Gender:Male
Appearance:Saikuro's hair is elegant to say the least. Just like the movie, it's gone with the Wind. Whenever it blows, his hair will surely follow, even if it's covering Saikuro's eyes, in which he would have to move them away. Though, he could swear he could hear his hair recite the famous line from the movie Gone with the Wind, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn." While annoyingly moving it's self back in front of Saikuro's eyes, thanks to the aid of the wind. However, like most people who have this problem, he would have to grin and bear it, or get a haircut. He's been down that road before, and won't go down that road again, so he would of course choose the former and gin and bear it like a good boy.
Under constant attack by curly, yellowish hair, Saikuro's eyes are quite beautiful. Donning the look of the endless, vast ocean, his light blue eyes constantly sparkle within the light, just like the ocean, who's infinite glory can only be seen under the sun. His eyes, is what may give away Saikuro's age since he really doesn't look like he's in his mid twenties, more or less in his late teens, but his eyes couldn't belong to a mere teenager, not considering how unique they look.
Saikuro is not short. Nor is he tall. He stands at the some what perfect height of 5'11. Not to short, and not to tall. His opponents won't have any particular feelings of extreme hatred or love for him. If he was short, opponents would think that they had hit the jackpot, using reach as their advantage. Or they would reveal in their bad luck, coming across a giant figure who's reach would only be matched by 100 entangled rubber bands, and what some may infer, but most know not to be entirely true, size=strength. But when one sees someone like Saikuro, unless they are of the former or latter, they wouldn't switch up their whole entire battle plan to adjust to someone of Saikuro's stature.
Saikuro's clothing can be described with three words, elegant, luminescent, and flashy. He wears a magnificent snowy, creamy white robe with somewhat of a cape attached to it, sharing the same designs, which are elegant blue swirls surfaced on the sleeves, and beautiful blue dotted diamonds manifested on the cape. Giving him a look that seems to mimic that of nobility, however, noting his history, you would know that it would be far from the truth, as Saikuro was not born into a rich family of any kind.
Personality:Saikuro's personality is an oxymoron within of it's self. He talks about justice, when his true motives could easily be viewed as evil. His ultimate plan, close to genocide.
Saikuro is an extremely calm and mild mannered man. Never showing extreme emotion toward anyone. Even if you insulted him, he wouldn't entertain you by insulting back. Maybe he would give you a compliment instead of an insult, just to throw off his opponent, or just the person he's interacting with at the moment. It will take a lot in order to infuriate Saikuro. You would need to do either of the following things: Attack him without warning, oppose his sense of justice, or mock his plans. These actions will automatically cause a battle to commence between you and Saikuro, and he will not stop unless you apologize, or you are no longer able to perform the previous actions that would have caused the fight in the first place. Despite this, he cannot be angered to any great degree.
If you somehow get close enough to Saikuro to get past his outermost shell of mild mannered, calm and collective person, then you will find that he does care for those around him. To the point in which he would almost gladly sacrifice his life to save those he is close to, or at least, he deems fit. However, his allies need not to break through the outer shell in which Saikuro exposes. They automatically gain the benefits in which someone outside would have to be close to him to gain, which is to take care of his allies. That is the number one priority of Saikuro, more than his own master plan. For his plan to work, he would need his allies in order to help him achieve it.
If you get deeper within Saikuro's mind, you will find truly horrible things. As a child, Saikuro lost most of his family to the Shinigami. He never fully recovered from that horrible act. A result of that, is the fact that he wishes nothing but the death of the Shinigami. That's all he cares about, and is his true master plan. He plans on doing it however, not by his own hand, by with the immense held of some allies, for he is well aware that the Shinigami ranks are incredibly high.
In battle, just like most people, his intelligence shines. Due to the limited amount of techniques that he possess, he has to rely on his intelligence, and crafty ability to utilize the environment against his opponent.
Background/History:Saikuro was born the last child of a family of 3. He was born in deep poverty. He lived in a poor neighborhood in a remote city far away from Karakura Town. The thought of living in the city never crossed his mind. He, just like the rest of his siblings, had to drop out of middle school in order to help provide for the family. His father and older brother were Quincy and protectors of the small city from random attacks from fierce hollows, attracted to the spiritual pressures of the Quincy family. This job may sound like that it should pay a lot, and come with plenty of perks, but the city it's self was ravaged, and couldn't afford to pay the type of money that they owed to Saikuro's family.
When Saikuro was coming of age, he noticed that he was changing. He was able to see ghosts, and he was able to manipulate spirit particles, but he didn't know how to harness them into arrows, which is what being a Quincy is all about. That was the major problem, and Saikuro's father and brother were there to help Saikuro every step of the way, and he was able to fully manipulate his powers in no time. He was able to join the family business, which was hollow hunting for the safety of the village. Even though it was difficult for him to do, he was some what of a help to his brother and father, but he felt he was always useless.
While Saikuro's father and brother were out on a mission, and Saikuro was at home helping his mother, they were attacked by Shinigami, who's job was to kill the Quincy for causing a great imbalance within the spiritual world. The attack was more of a warning, for if they were to be on the hunt again, a larger, more powerful squad would appear, and destroy them. Even though Saikuro's father and brother knew of what awaited them, they had to be able to provide for their family, so they left, knowing their fate, sure not to bring Saikuro along.
At the battle, Saikuro's father didn't have his Quincy glove, and his brother was never given one, so when they encountered the army of Shinigami that awaited them, they were killed. Though they took some Shinigami with them, they were no match for the numbers that they encountered. Their bodies were burned soon after.
At home, Saikuro had no idea what was to come, that was until his mother discovered a gift box and a letter written on it.
- Quote :
- To my youngest son, who will always be my pride and joy, I give you my Quincy glove. It was passed down from generation to generation. Your brother wielded it at one time, but he was not able to maintain it for long periods of time, and it was more of an inconvenience rather than an asset. As you read this letter, I think you should know that me and your brother are dead. We were killed by an army of Shinigami who didn't approve of our methods of hollow slaying. I'm sure more Quincy will die in other places, but I want you to create a world in which the Quincy and Shinigami could live together. I will give you this glove to realize this dream. Attached to it is the incantation to activate the glove's power. Please take it to heart.
Saikuro and his mother opened the box, and Saikuro took the glove as he read the incantation.
- Quote :
- In brightest day, in darkest night,
no evil shay escape my sight.
Let all who worship evil's might,
beware my power, Quincy's blue light.
As years passed, and Saikuro tried to provide for his mother, they just couldn't have ends meet, so his mother sent him to live with his grandmother and grandfather in Karakura town, where he would live a new life as a Quincy. Even though his father's words written in the letter were in his mind, he knew that a world in which Shinigami and Quincy live together in harmony couldn't exist, so he just wants one thing, the destruction of the Shinigami.
RP sample:Saikuro traveled down the cemented sidewalk of Karakura city. The sun had just stretched it's arms as the heat pounded upon Saikuro's being. He felt as if he was going to burn up, for it was in the middle of the summer, the time of the year that the sun truly shows it's disdain for carrying the Earth around the solar system. Even though Saikuro planned on having fun at the local swimming pool, it seems that the hollows never rest.
A black cord shredded through the sky, as a hollow stretched it's long, white arms through the hole, the hole was opening as the hollow was moving through it. Finally, the hollow's full structure could be seen. It was extremely pale, and had carried a long sword on it's back, which seemed to match the size of the great Sears tower. The hollow's sword was only outmatched by it's own size. It was to big to be a hollow, and far to powerful. In fact, it was an Arrancar. But Saikuro didn't know the difference. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his Quincy glove. He wore it on his right hand as his fist clenched, speaking the incantation.
"In brightest day, in darkest night,
no evil shay escape my sight.
Let all who worship evil's might,
beware my power, Quincy's blue light."An eruption of blue spiritual energy ensued as a bow manifested it's self in Saikuro's right hand. He commenced hirenyaku, and appeared in front of the hollow, as he shot a Quincy arrow taking the shape of a small dagger. It was deflected off the surface of the mask, not even scratching the Arrancar. It easily swiped Saikuro from the air, causing him to land through a building. Civilians shrieked with terror while the Arrancar attacked. It's movements were fast for it's size, and appeared before Saikuro, laying in a pile of rubble.
The Arrancar placed it's left hand on the hilt of it's blade, and released the sword that was confined within the dark portal known as a sheath. The blade was exceptionally long, it couldn't possibly be measured in length by human standards. As it swung it's blade down toward Saikuro, he opened his right palm wearing the glove, and a blue shield appeared. Effectively blocking the sword, or so he thought. The Arrancar's strength was incredible, it was breaking through the shield, and there was nothing Saikuro could do about it.
That was, until the arm of the Arrancar was cut off, and it's expression was that of surprise. More so than Saikuro. Soon, it's head fell off, and then, it's body disappeared. Just like that, it was destroyed. A black robe, sword carrying man appeared before Saikuro, extending his hand toward him. It was a Shinigami. Saikuro was infuriated. He let a Shinigami save him? Of all people? He was not going to take this lying down, or maybe he was.
He opened his hand wearing the glove, as if he was going to allow the Shinigami to save him. That was, until an arrow pierced the heart of the Shinigami, instantly killing him.
