Hojo [Shinigami]

Name: Hojo Kaiten.

Personality: Normal is how he is described. Normal and a bit sadistic with a flair of antagonism towards non-Shinigami beings. He has a disdain for humans because of their inferiority status, that extends to Quincy as well due to their humanity. They age, they eat, they act like how humans are, thus making them humans. Because of this, Hojo can be seen tacky if not humorless, having a sort of inflexible personality that doesn't bend to much about everything, except for Kisuke's care-free attitude. His persona may be seen as a result of an accident that resulted in the death of his other brother; Kai, in which he should be partly to blame for the firecracker incident because of his silliness, which changed Hojo dramatically. He still retains his tendencies to act silly at times and may snap a few cracked up jokes when possible.

History/Background: Born the youngest of all in a rich business family. Hojo was seen as another smart son just like Kisuke and Kai. Alas, fate was cruel to him. He had to endure countless attempts to replicate his brothers successes, but he wasn't as great as they are. In their shadows was the most accurate term, as he wasn't a genius or anything close to that, just an average person with a sharp intellect. This made him dis-attached from his family. Spending time alone without much to do, being silly and childish. Pranking to just get attention to himself at the soonest opportunity he can get.

One night, he took it too far. He set up a few fire crackers around a kerosene shop. He didn't expect the fire to actually travel into the shop. Panic, disorder. He ran to put the fire out, Kai ran in after him to save him. BOOM! Kai and Hojo were blown to cinders thanks to his prank. No traces was left of him except for Kai. It seemed that Hojo ran away instead of died in the explosion. The truth was far from it.

He became a Hollow bait later on, a couple of rescues later by the Shinigami, he was taken to Rokungai by a simple whack to the head by the Zanpakuto. A couple of noticeable spiritual pressure later, he was put into the academy. That academy was when he truly shined. At least he knew that he outdone his brothers in this regard. He passed in flying colours! Driving himself harder and harder just to earn himself a place! When the time came, he was put in 5th division as a 3rd Seater. Surprise, surprise, he found Kisuke to be there, even a Captain! All those years of training and he thought he was the only one! But no, fate bitch slapped him or more like granted him a mercy by letting him have his brother there, or someone he vaguely remembered as one back in his life.
