Personality: A man of few words, with no pity for the weak, his old age has made him wise, his wisdom has made him strong, his strength has made him powerful. His confidence is borne from years of experience, his cold expression matching his abilities. He believes all these youngsters could learn a thing or two from him. He is extremely proud of his own abilities, looking upon the other elements with scorn. He believes that ice is the one most powerful element. Though he appears to be narrow minded, he is merely strong in his convictions. He is an excellent strategist, and would never knowingly allow his personal feelings to compromise a battle; he knows when it is time to pull back and cut his losses. He believes that the bount are the superior race, greater than the quincy, hollow, and shinigami. In combat, he can sometimes be boastful, letting his pride get the better of him.

History: Throughout his existance, Jaeger von Kraus lived two separate lives. There were his Bount life, and his human life. This was because for most of his life, Jaeger von Kraus did not associate with the other bount. Upon his release into the human world, he lived in solitude in the Human world.

There is only one important thing that needs to be said about Jaeger Von Kraus' "human" life. What happened early on in Jaeger von Kraus' life is not important, nor is his place of origin. What is important, though, is what he chose to do with his life. He started his life as a warrior, defending his village for harm from within and without. He was a master of the battlefield, utilizing unconventional and brilliant tactics. His village was never successfully attacked so long as he defended it. At the same time, he was highly valued for his wisdom and his insight into the human condition. He was often the one whom the rest of the villiage entrusted the responsibility of solving domestic desputes. It was not that they did not want to do it themselves, but that he was so highly regarded throughout the village. He was his village's immortal protector. He and his doll were an invincible team, and he was seen by some as a god. He continued to live this way until the death of Jin Kariya.

At that time, he decided to leave his village and branch out on his own. He had been bothered by Soul Society in the past. It was a rare occurence, though, and whenever he killed a Shinigami, he made sure to leave no trace. Soon, more and more powerful Shinigami came after him, but after a while, they suddenly stopped coming. Something else must have been brewing. With Jin's death, though, he knew that Soul Society would most likely be combing the earth itself, searching for surviving Bount. He took his doll and began to wander the earth, searching for others of their kind. He has just recently found Karakura Town, and the army of surviving Bount that it contains. He is among his own people, and he intends to lend his might in any way that he can.
