Personality: Taku is a kind person with a tendency to be very strange at times. Part of this is because it comes naturally to him, but part of it is a desire to be noticed by the people around. Shy, he has trouble dealing with the meaner people of the world, causing him to have a suppressed hatred that he can never bring himself to release. He is not very good with women, and has a great deal of trouble talking to them. He is a little bit paranoid, and often thinks that people are making fun of him behind his back.

Appearance: Taku is by neither handsome nor ugly. He is slightly short and has short dark black hair. He has little upperbody strength but is quick on his feet. His manner of sitting often reminds people of a frog.

History/Background: Taku was born in the world of the living and died at the age of 19 after being hit by a car while riding his bike. He has begun to forget the specifics of his life but has traits that he picked up such as a hatred of cruelty. He really tries to not think about his old life out of an instinctual knowledge that this life is far better. He doesn't really regret dying and believes his death was probably a good thing for him. His greatest goal in life is to master shikai and become a strong shinigami.

Taku was crouched on the floor of the shinigami acadamy reading a book on kido. He had always been fascinated by kido, loving the feeling of magic it gave him. He smiled has he remembered how he had gasped the first time he saw a kido performed and how he now could use some simple kido himself.
