Meeting new people

Three days had passed since his promotion, and arrival to the fifth division. He hadn't yet meet everyone. Before venturing off to greet the other members. Jin decided to add some personal belongings to his room. On the farthest wall, he hung his clans mon. Pictures of his parents, sat on his bedside table. A set of swords were placed on top of his chestnut dresser. He felt at home with, making the atmosphere very pleasant, and comforting.

After the decorations were complete. He left, to visit the others. Along his path, he spotted someone. Believing that proper greetings are the first foundation of a relationship. He walked over to introduce himself. Extending out his hand for a handshake. He spoke his name first."Hello, I am Jin Takeda. The new vice-captain of the fifth division."

As his arm extended out, for what he intended to be a nice greeting. He noticed the person that stood before him. Started to blur, and was wavy. Then suddenly, he disappeared. The Shinigami was dumbfounded. He couldn't comprehend as to what just happened. Jin began to notice a difference in his body as well. Increased heart rate, numbness in his mouth, weakness in his limbs, and muscle relaxation. He then suddenly remembered why he was feeling this way. Last night he was doing shrooms, and made some into tea. He forgot when he awoke that he had poured him another glass, before falling asleep. So that cup on his night stand was shroom tea. Oh, what a way to start the day. Hopefully the dosage he administered himself would only last, at the most, two hours. He then put on his best "Im OK" look, tried to at least. Then ventured off, following a beautiful butterfly that was turning bright colors, and smoking a cigar.
