| Arrancar Registration Name: Hakujou, Chinou Rank: Espada Age: 3000. Visual: Mid-late twenties. Appearance: Chinou appears to be a male in his mid-twenties. He is slender, yet fairly muscular. He stands at 6'1, pale white skin, messy black hair and yellow eyes with slit-shaped pupils similar to that of a cat's. His facial expression changes and he is almost always showing no emotion at all. He wears typical arrancar clothes: a white jacket, blue sash, and a white hakama. Like most other Arrancar, he possesses remnants of his former life as a Hollow in his appearance. His hollow hole is located in his sternum, where a heart would normally be. In his case, it's simply a dark hole. The remainder of his hollow mask consists of his left jaw bone. His tattoo number is located on his back. Gender: Male Personality: At first glance, he would portray a laid-back individual. This misleading appearance hides a brutal, cold personality and a lethally-short temper. Chinou is direct, sarcastic, and quite sadistic. His cold demeanor allows him to stay completely calm and in control in most situations, and he is not easy surprised or caught off-guard. He displays little respect for authority and says whatever is on his mind. ~Cold~ Chinou is a rather cold individual in the eyes of everyone around him. He usually doesn’t make friends at all, but simply marks them down as a pawn for his use at anytime. The coldness of his vibe and his personality is the base of his ruling of his race. Chinou’s cold natured trait even goes as far as not fully caring about his Elites at all. Simple way to put it is that he believes that everyone under his control is a pawn for his quest to greatness. ~Strict~ Chinou is extremely strict in his leadership of his elites. Basically, whatever he tells you is law and if you don’t do it. He will punish you without any kind of kindness at all. So, he uses his strict to give way to his follower’s fear. He is so strict that most of his elites fear not completing the missions he hand out and will go to great lengths to complete it no matter what. ~Blunt~ The great Espada Leader is a very blunt man to say the least. He says whatever is on his mind at any point in time no matter what is going on. He has even been known to simply say out of the blue that he doesn’t like or wishes that someone in his ranks would just die. So, even though some people might hide there true feelings or comments. Chinou doesn’t think that way. He believes that it is better for people to know whatever is on your mind. ~Calm~ To top off all that has been stated, he is extremely calm natured. Yes, even though he has a very short temper, and things of that nature. He can still react calmly along with fighting calm, collect, and maybe even relaxed. He fights full out and even says exactly what he is thinking while doing so. Yet, Chinou’s aura/vibe is a rather calm one and that makes things better for his elites to give him some kind of feeling besides anger to put with their leader’s personality. -------------------- Hair Color: - Dark-colored. Likes: Do you like me? Dislikes: Anyone who grinds his gears. Crushes: Got some good booty on ya? -------------------- Specialties: He doesn't have a main hand or main leg. He uses both the same, giving him an upper hand in battle. History: Chinou is a purebred Hollow, being a descendant of an Arrancar. He was a supposed 'love child' and was abandoned in a community being ruled by a tyrannical king, the most powerful hollow, not arrancar, but hollow ruling the forest. Having broken free from the tyrannical rule of the king, a renegade group of hollows seek to retain their own free will while destroying all those who oppose them. These hollows established a secret stronghold beneath, far within the forest. To further their dark aims, the rebellion group sort help from an Arrancar, who later took them other his wings. Together, they destroyed the mighty king and regained their freedom. Taking interest in Chinou, this Arrancar thought him all he knew, and how to be an Arrancar. As years passed, Chinou discovered the ones who abandoned him. Seeking revenge, he killed them both. This was the beginning of the sadistic Arrancar we now know as Chinou. He made his way up the ranks. As a Fraccion, he was undoubtedly the strongest among his ranks. When he revealed his true-self, he began to scare off other Fraccion's. They barely ever associated with him unless they had been instructed too. Participating in a war against the Shinigami as a Fraccion, Chinou witnessed the death of his master and other Espadas. This sight inspired him to become on of the Espadas. Gradually, he made his way through the ranks, annihilating any who stood in his way. He was going to make sure those who was in the ranks of the Espadas earned it. If he considered one weak, he would annihilate them. This behavior of his had the Primera troubled. And soon, the Primera punished him. Placing him in a pit, filled with murderous Arrancars. They were like him, but not as strong. He fought and killed each and everyone of the Arrancars that stood in his way. All except one... the previous segunda Espada. He was a highly skilled combatant and easily defeated Chinou. After witnessing Chinou's defeat, the Primera decided to bring Chinou back into the household, in hope that Chinou had changed his ways, which he had. But gradually ... he made his way up the ranks and became the Primera himself. He assigned his long-time friend Ajaket to always be his right-hand man. Innate Ability: Cannibalize - Any lost limbs will be regenerated and any wounds healed up, as Chinou dines on a corpse. This effect will work, as long as the corpse belongs to any of the following race: Human, Shinigami, Hollow. Any movement, action, or damaged taken will cancel the effect - meaning Chinou has to remain in a spot and dine on the corpse for the ability to work. Any movement or action doesn't necessarily mean moving a limb or so. It just means standing up or jumping about. Any damage: hit, slap, etc will also cancel out the effect. It takes three posts to be fully healed up - be good as new. Picture of Character: Avatar Sample Chapter: - Spoiler:
Chinou strolled into the training grounds, with a satchel filled with scrolls in his right hand. A long, tired yawn escaped from his lips, as he threw the Satchel to the ground before him. He had been forced by his parents to go learn a few techniques, and get into shape. Chinou had been slacking in the last past few years, his only favourite thing to do was: Sleeping, eating, and drinking. Nothing else. He never worked out, went on a walk, or train anymore like he did when he was still quite young. This new behaviour irritated his parents. So here he was, with a bunch of scrolls, about to learn new techniques.
Another prolonged exhausted yawn escaped from his lips as he crossed his legs over each other sitting down on the moist grassland. Reaching over for the Satchel, he opened it, randomly selecting a scroll from the bunch of scrolls that stayed put in the rather large bag. Pulling it out, he opened it up, studying the writings. "Earth Release: Earth Shore Technique. Chuunin ranked, Ninjutsu, Defensive and Earth natured," he whispered to himself, rolling his eyes. "Of course, duh, I'm Earth natured," he added, standing up. He wasn't going to learn techniques sitting down on the grassland like that, which was also moistured, sending chills up his skin.
He read the description of the technique twice, thrice, acknowledging the concept of the Technique. "Seems good to be," he stated, tossing the scroll to his side, left to be precise. Placing both hands together, he began performing a set of hand seals required to sucessfully perform the technique. He would then bend over, striking his palms into the ground. He waited, nothing happened. He groaned lightly, as if he just fully understood how learning a technique worked. Trying it for the first time you are bound to fail, second time you would get it right, but not accurate. Third time always the charm. He stood up, reforming the previous handseals. He placed his hands onto the ground once more, and he felt it. The motion in the earth. A thick, rectangular portion of the earth erected from the ground, standing tall before Chinou. It seemed he wouldn't have to perform it a third time. He had gotten it on the second try. "Heh, not bad," he said, leaping backwards.
About five seconds later after Chinou had leaped backwards away from the Earth wall, it immediately crumbled into pieces. "Ugh. I guess this isn't going to be a breeze then," he sighed, staring at the little crumbled earth pieces laying in the moistured grass. Such beautiful scenary, ruined by little crumbled Earth pieces. He placed his hands together again, and began performing the set of handseals listed in the scroll. He slammed his hands into the grass, a wall made of Earth immediately erecting from the ground. First horizontally, then vertically. It all happened in a split second, but to Chinou, it seemed like minutes. Standing up tall before him, stood a thick tall Earth wall. He took out a Kunai from the pouch strapped to his left thigh and impaled the wall. Nothing happened, it didn't crumble or anything of that sort. He walked around the wall to see if the Kunai showed at the other side, it didn't. The wall was indeed thick. "On to the next technique then," he announced, beaming at his success. Which wasn't physically seen, only mentally/emotionally felt.
He approached the Satchel, squatting as he reached into the bag. He randomly selected another scroll yet again, pulling it out. He turned around staring at the Wall made of Earth. "Eh ... I guess I'm gonna have to destroy it, or not," he stated, walking towards the Wall. He turned around, facing the Satchel as he leaned on the Wall. He unrolled it, reading the writings. "Hiding Like a Mole Technique, Chuunin, Ninjutsu ... Earth. Hmm, interesting," he stated, looking down into the earth. The corner of his lips suddenly curved, as he frowned. He wasn't about to go down into the earth journeying through the thousands of worms, and the mud beneath. That was just plain disgusting, but he had to do it. Once he was done, he would have to demonstrate the Jutsu in the scrolls in the Satchel before them.
He rolled the scroll, tossing it to the left as it landed beside the previous scroll that layed in the grass. "Let's see," he performed a quick set of hand seals. He would then channel chakra beneath his feet, and onto the grassland. Nothing happened. "Duh," he rolled his eyes cutting the chakra flow. I'm supposed to dig through the ground like a mole, not sink into it, he thought, reforming the handseals. He would duck, placing his hands into the ground and begin flowing chakra into the grassland. The land began to soften, but wasn't soft enough for someone to dive through and not get hurt. Crash into it, sure. Chinou wasn't going to do that though. He stood up, smashing his right leg into the softened land. It cracked. Chinou smashed his foot into the ground harder, and it crumbled, revealing a hole inside the land. "Smooth," he stated stretching as he took a few steps to the side.
"You just need to channel Chakra into the ground Chinou," he stated to himself pausing. "what the hell is so hard about doing that?" he questioned himself, groaning. He now disliked himself from slacking for the past three years. Tch, good thing I didn't sign up for the Chuunin exams, he thought to himself, as he performed the hand seals yet again. "Third time's the try," he mumbled, placing his hands onto the land. He positioned himself like a dog on all fours as he concentrated chakra into the land beneath him. Six, Five, Four, Three, Two, One, Zero. The land felt like sand. Suddenly, not by his own will, he spun into the ground, face down first. What was happening, he didn't know. But he sure felt like a mole. He was spiraling down into the Earth, how far down he had traveled he couldn't estimate, but knew he was far down. He suddenly changed direction, heading to the right, then back upwards.
The Surface of the grassland suddenly fell in on itself as Chinou erupted from the ground, and up into the air. He didn't feel any pains, he wasn't hurt. But he was covered in dirt, fortunately, none got into his nostrils, or any part of his face. He suddenly realized he was up in the air, not heading back into the ground. He spread his legs apart and arms forward as he landed on the hole he created in the ground while erupting from it. He was now sprawled above the hole. "Neat," he said in a sarcastic tone, rolling to his left away from the hole and onto his legs. He gradually dusted the dirt off his clothes, and hair. "On to the next technique," he stated irritated. He was sure there were more techniques that involved dirt. It was a Earth natured jutsu, of course it would involve dirt.
