:Personality:: Nathan is a little different from members of the (9) Division might turnout to be. he has a strong sense of nobility. A little unusual but he won’t take the chance to slay a target with no remorse, or won’t think twice about stabbing in the back. When he does find a foe he enjoys torn fight he will traditionally fight them to the death, as all warriors should die. He shows
great Loyalty to his superiors and kindness to people that he will allow near him. He does have a bit of a temper, but only if you press the wrong buttons. There is usually a wall of patience that guards these buttons, mostly his short comings and things that may annoy him extremely. The few things that annoy him are when someone calls him a hollow and when someone constantly turn everything he says into a question. The wall has times when it isn’t there at all

History:
Born (or the spirit's variation of birth) in the 53rd district, Nathan was a quiet kid. One day, he stumbled upon a gang of children, who were stealing food from a nearby vendor. Deciding to help the kids, he used his unique prowess with traps to stop the men chasing them. Bringing a small straggler with him when he caught up with the others, Nathan was met at first with distrusting glares. He quickly began to be accepted within the group, though, and helped plan out some of their more daring raids.
One day, however, a small band of mercenaries, hired by the nearby people to teach them a lesson, came to the gang's hideout. The mercenaries had previously had WAY too much sake, and began blindly lashing out. Nathan had been getting water from the stream, and focusing his spiritual power, when he heard the screams. Running back, he witnessed the slaughter of his friends. Using his skill, he set up elaborate traps, and the mercenaries all ended up speared on their own swords. Afraid of the what the people's reaction would be, he gave his friends a funeral pyre by burning the hideout, and ran.
Some years later, Nathan recieved an invitation to the Soul Reaper Academy. Thrilled at the oppurtunity, he entered. Focusing more on the Flash Step and Swordsmanship areas of training, he excelled in the two, and his other three were not that bad, either.
Graduating third in his class, he landed a spot in Squad (9).
