Release Phrase: 'Fade'

Represent: A Bird of Prey, however ... his appearance, while released, makes it questionable as to exactly which one he represents.

Element: Shadow/Darkness

Sealed Description: While most arrancar use swords, Ajaket uses a knife. It's a very simple knife with a small appropriate sheath, and tends to be rather useful ... considering it's kept hidden. Yeah, he's awesome like that.
(Sidenote: He carries the blade of his twin brother, Kenryu as a momento. That blade is longsword with a rather simple crossguard and no sheath. It's about 110 cm in length. Despite carrying this sword, Ajaket cannot use it for his release as it's technically not his ... he can only use it as a weapon.)

Released Description: Like other arrancar when one utters the release phrase of their resurrection, Ajaket gains a piece of his former self back. He awakens the natural power that had been locked up when he choose to become an arrancar. But, unlike some arrancar, his overall appearance does not change ... drastically. He still retains his humanoid shape and is still a bipedal vertebrate.

It's just that he gains some additional limbs. And not arms nor legs ... nor something of the nether region, mind you, but rather, wings. Black wings that sprout from behind him, massive feathered appendages that lazily rest behind him. He appears as an angel, you could say … a fallen one whose wings have been tainted by unforgivable sin, and thus branded with a mark of shame. Pity, he doesn’t feel remorseful at all, despite his appearance. Whether or not he's aerodynamically fit for flight, he still hasn't tried to confirm if he can. After all, he's always preferred Terra Firma.

Beyond this, his appearance doesn't change at all (minus large holes now ripped into the back of his shirt and jacket ... unless they were removed prior to his release. However, the wings are massive, and the numerous feathers are collected well together to prevent light from passing through ... and thus, when they unfurl a shadow is cast over Ajaket ... the mix of the light and its absence, the dark, gives hint to his own fractured self, the result of a piteous past.

These black wings may seem like aesthetic, vestigial structures ... but they tend to prove rather useful when in a fight. They can withstand low-level attacks, and thus can be used as shields. They also serve as reishi reserves, absorbing free-floating spiritual energy and converting them in a solid shape … the feathers. Most of the following techniques require a feather to be plucked, and utilized ... for they are nothing more than compressed containers of energy, and thus capable of being more than airy pieces of material that are used for decoration.

-Ultimate Ability/Attack-

Ability: A common trait of the following techniques is the creation of the absence of light, ‘darkness’. This is caused by the nature of the Res being infused with Ajaket’s reiatsu … and thus when he releases spiritual energy, it gains a light-absorbing property and leaves behind black marks wherever it goes, like a stain. What's so useful about this is that the darkness is that it is merely free-flying reishi released by Ajaket, and so entering that Zero-Visibility(due to a lack of light) area would make him virtually undetectable as his spiritual signal would be mixed with the darkness he has made as they would register the same to someone attempting to track him. All the while he can easily pinpoint his targets if they are in the dark areas ... although he can't be 100% sure whiter or not he can injure them.

Attack: -Blackout- This is done whenever Ajaket reverses his release and returns back into sealed state. The wings on his back turn unstable, and then a massive feather shower emerges as they are shed. However, these feathers then release the stored up reiatsu(not as a cero, just the spiritual energy) and soon turn a large area around Ajaket into a black zero-visibility zone. Normally, this zone would last up to 10 posts. If 'La Ira Del Cielo' was used, then the duration is cut in half. The zone can stretch across a 20 meter radius pseudo-circular area. Just like the other techniques that create zero-visibility zones, the reiatsu gains light-absorbing properties and thus negates the presence of light in the afflicted areas. However, since this reiatsu is none other than Ajaket's he can hide in this zone and be virtually undectectable.

Innate Ability: If this pertains to the Innate Ability of the user, then this area is non-applicable. If it pertains to a unique ability of the blade, then that is also non-applicable … unless you count it being miraculously heavy despite its size an ‘innate ability’.

-Techniques-
Name: Emplume Cero
Ability: Essentially a Cero, infused with the element corresponding to the Res. It takes the shape of a black marble ... yes ... a marble, upon charging. It requires single feather to be plucked from the wings(causing a mild amount of discomfort for the user) and be used as the basis of which the Cero is focused. The projectile rapidly compresses into a dense spherical object, and instead of being fired immediately like a blast from a focal point ... is flicked in the general direction of the enemy. Then, like a beam, it shoots forward. A black streak across existence, it will be sent flying forward at a speed closer to a Bala then a Cero. When it comes into contact with another object (be it the target or a something close by and in the way of the target), it then detonates into a rather small explosion (unfitting for a normal Cero). The blast is seen as a swirling mass of black, due to the properties of the reishi infused into it ... that darkness lingers in a two meter radius zone around the stricken area. Here, all light is incapable of penetrating for a few turns, thus creating a zero-visibility zone. (One can easily enter in and exit out of here, however.)

Requires a Single post charge before firing.

Duration: The Darkness lingers for 5 posts, making the area stricken a Zero-Visibility zone until then(Unless you have specialized vision to see in the absence of light). Once the 5 turns are up, it dissipates almost instantaneously.

Cooldown: 3 posts long

Extra: Multiple shots can be fired. Up to four simultaneous attacks can be shot, although the charge time is increased by a post for every additional one after the second, so 4 blasts results in a three post charge. Cooldown is merely increased by an additional two posts regardless of how many are shot.

Name: La Ira Del Cielo

Ability: A variation of the first technique ... only on a much large scale. It requires a bit of time to ready, and a high altitude to shoot from. While not millions, or thousands, a hundred plus of charged Enplume Ceros rain down from the sky ... streaking at high speeds and impacting against the target area ... which tends to be a massive amount of space. The explosions result in a blanket of darkness that covers the entire battlefield(though not extending very far up, for that matter). These Ceros are much weaker in comparison to ordinary Ceros, and thus one could be stricken by practically all of them and not be killed. They may suffer injury, but their life would not be in a critical state.

Requires A LOT of feathers and 4 turn/post charge. This can only be performed once per battle, and then Ajaket is in need of some time for a breather and to cope with whatever spiritual energy was used up for this.

Duration: The Darkness lingers for 7 posts/turns.

Name: Espada Negra

Ability: A single feather, once more, plucked from the black wings. This time, rather than allow it to swirl about, becoming a spiral of destructive energy … it elongates itself, forming a blade of sorts. With the feather being the source of which the reishi, collected and pooled to form a solid portion, extends itself from … it manifests as a blade of darkness, the light absorbing properties of the reishi still present. One could attribute these as similar to the Quincy ‘Seele Schneiders’, as they are composed of cycling reishi particles to form a solid shape … thus creating a chainsaw effect. The only difference is that the Espada Negra does not grow more powerful with each blow it lands upon the opponent(via absorbing their own reiatsu, that is). Actually, the instant the feather begins to release the stored up energy, it lasts for only a short amount of time before dieing out, as the spirit energy is forcibly discharged(something it, a container, was not intended to do). The upside to the weapon is that the energy in question has been converted into Hei’s own power … and thus allowing him full manipulation as to the shape of the ‘blade’. The technique is named due to the darkness produced by it, and because of its initial shape, however its form can be altered at will(though there is a momentary delay, and rapid alterations are nigh impossible. The blade can also not be broken apart willing(to form a spiked mace or something like), as doing such weakens the structure of the blade, allowing it to disperse even more rapidly). It’s quite capable of cutting through moderately powerful Hierro and mid-level barriers. Normal shinigami, ordinary humans, and other weak individuals are at the highest risk of being sliced in two by this blade.

Despite using the feather as the medium and the source for this technique, it actually costs a large amount of energy from Hei to break apart the feathers and unleash the reishi stored within. It also takes a small drain to maintain the shape for as long as possible, or else it would just flicker and die out immediately after being activated.

Requires a feather and a single post to ready.

Duration: 3 posts, before it dies out. If the shape of the blade is altered during the usage, the duration is cut by a single post. (If altered on post one, it’ll end on post two. If altered on post two, it will end on the same post. If altered on post three, it will sputter and die out immediately).

Cooldown: While there technically IS no cooldown for this, increased usages results in longer charge times. For every additional one after the first used, the charge gains an additional post.

Up to two ‘blades’ can be produced at any one time. If two ARE used, the charge bumps up a post as mentioned. There is no doubling of charge times when simultaneously preparing two. The blade can also be charged separately. (One on turn one, the other starting on turn two). Although this is still under additional charge limitation.
