Sealed Zanpaktou: [ In its sealed state Nobunaga Zanpakuto is in the form of a Nodachi whose blade length is 64” inches and has a handle length of 24” inches. The weapon is cased in a black sleek sheath which is very befitting for such a weapon that harbors death. The blade itself is thicker than normal with a slight curve and it has a finely sharpened edge perfect for cleaving an opponent. The Zanpakuto albeit is heavier and larger than the normal, but many are surprised with how Nobunaga can wield such a weighty weapon as if it were a standard katana. With the weight of weapon being as it is, this allows Nobunaga to have more powerful swings when striking. The cutting edge of the weapon is a light grey in color with a very glossy finish, but the dull side is a dark smoky flat color almost appearing black. Inscribed on the Zanpakuto running up along the blade from the base of the guard to the tip of the blade in a silver-ish Japanese kanji is ‘A sword is never a killer, it is a tool in the killer hand’s’. At the foundation of the blade, the guard is different from the norm and takes the shape of an octagon that is black. Extending from the guard is a black hilt whose length is longer than the normal handle found on a bladed weapon. This extended handle is for when Nobunaga decides to use two hands on his sword instead of one. Once the combat fiend starts using two hands it can add for more powerful drive when striking increasing his cutting power. Additionally, contained within the base of his hilt is a healing ointment used in times of when he sustains a great amount of damage. ]

Shikai: [ Bodily Nobunaga zanpakuto stays the same precise size, not gaining in length or shortening in its overall size. However, the fearsome Zanpakuto does go through a metamorphic process in some other aspects of the weapon adopting different features. First starting with the sharpened perimeter of the blade, as it becomes transformed into a double-edged sword with a blood red rim, leaving one to ponder if it’s Nobunaga’s past enemies blood that stain it or the Zanpakuto’s border itself. The center of the blade mysteriously turns to a solid gold color and becomes as if your eyes are peering into the very richness of the weapon. The kanji inscription color changes from their once silver color to the blood red color matching the brim of the blade, but the order in which the words are emblazoned changes as such, ‘It is a killer hand’s which holds the tool, a executioner is never the sword’. The guard that once was a black octagon is no longer visible and the past abominable lengthy black hilt becomes a lustrous gold extended handle that looks fit for only a king’s touch. An item that the shinigami also attains is a red tengu mask further reflecting the spirit of his Zanpakuto. So far the mask has yet to be broken, but with enough force it most likely could be broken. Nobunaga is not sure if his shikai will immediately be dispelled if his mask is shattered, but in all likelihood that is what would occur ]

The Three Paths of Chaos and War

[ Chigatana physically augments and increases Nobunaga’s ability in one of the three following categories dramatically: Strength(Kemononosuuji - Number of the Beast), Endurance(Joukaku - Fortress), Speed(Yawarakanakaze - Gentle Breeze). As each ability is used, a black kanji will immediately be inscribed on the masks forehead which represents the current attribute being intensified. Although the tall sized shinigami gains a significant boost in the triggered ability, each comes with some sort of drawback. Subsequently each ability results in a different spike of reiatsu, Kemononosuuji being the highest, Yawarakanakaze being the second highest, and Joukaku being the lowest.

Initially when Nobunaga stimulates his shikai no marks will appear on the forehead of his tengu mask. To actually gain the ability Nobunaga will need to tap the middle of his forehead with either his right or left index finger. Depending on how many times he taps it depends on which ability will be activated. If he taps it once Kemononosuuji will be active, if tapped twice rapidly then Joukaku, if tapped three times swiftly then Yawarakanakaze. He also can change the abilities once during the duration of the four posts. For example if he taps it once then it goes into Kemononosuuji, if 2 or 3 posts after the original post in which the ability was active and he taps it again he will enter Joukaku, but can’t gain access to his ability traits until three post cool down. If he wishes to enter Yawarakanakaze then two rapid taps must done to go over his second ability, and so on and so forth ]

[ Techniques ]

Name: [ Kemononosuuji ] (Number of the Beast)
Effect: When Kemononosuuji is in effect the respective kanji emblem will first be decorated on the tengu’s mask forehead in black. Next the seal will physically enhance Nobunaga’s strength by four folds giving the shinigami massive attacking power. The drawback to this immense heighten strength is that Nobunaga physical constitution is decreased by two folds making him more susceptible to injury and harm, still his speed is as if it were normal. But to put it in perspective injuries that would be normal when he is normal are greatly intensify and seem to become more painful. This particular ability is the most used by Nobunaga because it allows for him to be violent and brutal.

Name: [ Joukaku ] (Fortress)
Effect: After this kanji for the specific ability has been risen on the forehead of Nobunaga’s Tengu mask. This will quadruple his overall endurance allowing him to withstand much more damage than he normally would be able to handle. This is one of the less used ability traits for Nobunaga since it is defensive aimed and he is a more attack orientated type of mind. He only uses this ability when there is a need to do so. Yet the impede to this said ability trait is that Nobunaga’s strength suffers by two folds, but his speed is still equal to as if it were normal.

Name: [ Yawarakanakaze ] (Gentle Breeze)
Effect: Following Yawarakanakaze’s activation Nobunaga speed triples allowing the shinigami to move far faster than he previously could. This ability is Nobunaga’s second most used ability and allows for him to keep up with the faster opponents. However the setback to this ability trait is that his endurance and strength both decrease by one fold.

Bankai: [ Nobunaga’s Bankai mirrors his massive amount of reiryoku and takes the form of his Zanpakuto real meaning. This pinnacle of power personifies itself into an ancient samurai armor composed of pure reiatsu. The barrier of armor when viewed is tormenting to even ogle at and the reiatsu this state radiates is equally menacing further adding to its intimidating nature. Additionally the size in which Nobunaga stands is increased as the once 6’ 7” frame stretches itself to nine feet even. The once cold grey hues undergo a change as they transmute to a blood red color that perpetually glows behind the mask of the armor. His blade further lengthens (think sephiroth) but its blade color is an unsettling natural red tint. The hilt of the blade has no guard and mimics the previous shikai form with the hilt retaining its solid gold color, plus its length

Most usually just say ‘Bankai’ to release this phase of their power, but Nobunaga must say ‘Shogun awaken’ only then will he have access to his immense power ]

Bankai ability: [ To start the form is similar to his shikai form except this time around only one category (strength) is increased and furthermore it is broaden to a even higher level. The augmenting of his strength is amplified by twenty-five folds and he still retains the speed of a captain level shinigami. This increase in strength boosts the cutting power in which Nobunaga can strike with making him capable of slashing through skyscrapers with little resistance. Even if a blow is blocked the sheer force in which Nobunaga strikes with can send an opponent off balance or buckle them. If Spiritual beings below lieutenant level shikai’s are cut while Nobunaga is in Bankai form they will be easily cleaved.

Secondly, his armor being made of collected reiatsu is very formidable and dense being able to withstand substantial impacts an opponent can deliver. It even can shave off a bala level blast with ease, but cero level can inflict light damage, however taking too many of these spiritual releases can accumulate and be extremely harmful to the protective shell. Spiritual blasts above Cero level can impose severe damage if Nobunaga is not careful. These discharges can easily destroy the protective armor when impacted in the targeted area and wreak serious damage to Nobunaga himself.

Overall this Bankai is focused for close quarters and long range is not optional for Nobunaga when he battles ]

Bankai exclusive techniques:

Name: [ Keiri – Executioner ] (Not a projectile)
Effect: [ This particular technique is when Nobunaga focuses a great amount of red colored reiryoku into his blade. The procedure is similar to an arrancar gathering spiritual energy needed for a cero blast. But instead of shooting and releasing the energy it is discharged when his blade makes impact with something physically. Upon impact a immediate expulsion of the energy is let loose causing a powerful cutting force that can heavily damage whatever is in its path, it as well can be used as an effect tool to negate an oncoming attack, but that’s only if Nobunaga has no choice ]
